Early Thursday morning, a raid occurred in Prince William County, VA, which captured a 24-year-old male alleged to be one of the top three leaders of MS-13 on the East Coast. This raid was a coordinated operation between the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Prince William County Police Department, Virginia State Police, and other local law enforcement.

U.S. authorities have captured the MS-13 top leader for the U.S. East Coast, the FBI announced on Thursday.

Officials captured the 24-year-old suspect in Woodbridge, Virginia, just south of Washington, D.C. Authorities have yet to release the suspect's name, but they say he is one of the top three leaders of the MS-13 gang in the U.S.

Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel watched the arrest unfold from a nearby tactical operations center. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and senior DOJ official Emil Bove were also present.

"They executed a clean, safe operation and the bad guys in custody. And thanks to the FBI, we got one of the worst of the worst of the MS-13 off the streets this morning. Virginia and the country is a lot safer today," Bondi told Fox News following the arrest.

VA Governor Glenn Youngkin said the illegal criminal was located in Dale City, Prince William County. "One of the best places to live in America," Youngkin said. Youngkin also praised the Trump administration for setting the stage that allowed this raid and major arrest to happen.

It's this effort that has been enabled by the Trump administration. President Trump said, "get the bad guys." I've been working on this literally for the first three years of our administration with little to no help from the senior leadership in the federal government, in the Biden administration.

Under the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement were blocked from sharing illegal alien criminal history, even if local and state law enforcement petitioned for this information, as Youngkin had. The federal government was under no obligation to respond, and the Biden administration always refused. The local law enforcement's hands were tied, or they were completely in the dark. Thus producing the litany of crime and repeat offense by these actors, such as the rape and murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Texas and mother of five Rachel Morin in Maryland.

These actions of the Trump administration to change the federal directives, and unleash federal law enforcement to coordinate, rather than silo information and resources, is not only a huge paradigm shift but a disruptor of the criminal networks that were allowed to be embedded into our country over the past four years.

Editor's Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
