Kamala Harris 'Reproductive Rights' Bus Tour Will Be a Non-Starter for Black Religious Southerners

Vice President and selected Democrat nominee Kamala Harris, her running mate MN Gov. Tim Walz, and her campaign surrogates will launch a bus tour on Tuesday to the battleground and Southern states. The theme? "Fighting for Reproductive Freedom." I have stated before that the only job where Harris has been effective is advocating for the killing of babies in the womb. This new messaging incorporates IVF and some of their other aims to reflect Democrats are "pro-family," but abortion is still the main event. Lipstick on a pig can be a different color or shade, but at the end of the day, it's still a pig.

Vice President Harris’s campaign are launching a bus tour in Palm Beach, Fla., with its surrogates promoting access to reproductive rights.

The “Fighting for Reproductive Freedom” bus tour is set to start Tuesday in former President Trump’s hometown. Surrogates from second gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Minnesota first lady Gwen Walz, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and Harris campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez, among others, will be on the tour.

The tour will make at least 50 stops in red, blue and battleground states in the next couple of months, the campaign announced. Surrogates will focus on talking to voters about Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s (D) plans to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade, which was overturned by the Supreme Court in 2022.

As per usual, they bury the lede, proving my point. Their obsession with using the overturn of Roe v. Wade as a rallying cry to get women to vote has reached a fever pitch as they attempt to drown out inflation, the horrors of the border, and crime.

But as one outlet reports, the South (and particularly Southern Blacks), see the message for what it is, which is why they have to disguise it.

Democrats should be worried. As a Black person who now lives in the South, from the barber shops to the hair salon to the fish fry, Harris is being discussed, but not favorably. Actual evangelicals, not those paid stooges under the "Evangelicals for Harris" banner, are pointing out what should be obvious to everyone.

WATCH:

The potential first Black woman president is not considered by most Black Americans as part of ADOS (American Descendants or Slaves) or FBA (Foundational Black Americans).

This same "Black" woman, who has never birthed any children of her own, is advocating that a population hovering at 13 percent abort their offspring under the guise of freedom. Interestingly enough, the growth of the Black community stalled around the mid-1970s, soon after the Supreme Court made Roe the law of the land.

Imagine that?

Vice President Kamala Harris spent the second anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in this Southern city, comparing the people fighting for abortion rights today to the civil rights activists who refused to leave whites-only lunch counters six decades ago.

“We — all of us — are now called upon to advance the promise of freedom, including the freedom of every woman to make decisions about her own body, not the government telling her what to do,” Harris said in June.

But once Air Force Two had flown back to Washington and Democrats here began urging their family, friends and neighbors to vote for her and other Democratic candidates, their cold calls to strangers and polite post-church conversations rarely touched on abortion, Democratic volunteers say.

“We know that’s not a winner down here,” said Rosemary Lawrence, a longtime Democratic activist who is on the social justice ministry at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte. While she personally supports both Harris and reproductive freedom, she said, very little of her phone banking focuses on abortion.

“When we tend to see something as not being popular, we tend to shy away from discussing it, which is not good. But that’s basically where we are,” Lawrence said. “I have not heard anyone [locally] try to make it an issue, and I’m here in the middle of it. We’re making telephone calls tonight, in fact, and I know that’s not one of the talking points.”

That's because they cannot speak the truth, and these people shilling for Harris don't want their callers to lean into their Harris hesitancy, and God forbid, discover the truth about her record. There is enough recent history that shows Kamala Harris' stance on abortion. As opposed to her other political stances on policies like fracking and the border, Harris has been 10-toes-down and full-chested on her abortion stance.

As she said in her CNN interview, "My values have not changed."

There is no debate that Harris' values involve the killing of babies inside the womb, and out. And the Black ones? Even better!

As San Francisco D.A. and CA Attorney General, she has targeted people of faith and their pro-life stance on behalf of Planned Parenthood and her other pro-abortion donors who have contributed to Harris' campaigns since she started her political rise.

In Kamala Harris’s home state of California, the exponential disparity in abortion rates is staggering. Black women, who comprise only about 6% of the population, account for an overwhelming 37% of all abortions in the state. This disparity is not just a reflection of existing inequalities; it is actively perpetuated by policies that Harris has long supported and advocated for throughout her career. As both Attorney General of California and now as Vice President, she has pushed for increased access to abortion services, often without addressing the disproportionate impact these policies have on Black communities.

The data reveals a deeply concerning pattern that aligns with the historic eugenic practices designed to control the growth of certain populations. This alarming trend in California underscores the urgent need for a reexamination of these policies to address the systemic inequalities they reinforce #blackamericangenocide

As a Senator, Harris voted "No" to move a bill forward that would protect babies born alive. Who does that?!

So, if those phone banking sessions even mention Harris' zealotry on "reproductive rights," Black evangelical voters will surely drop her like a hot rock. They may not vote for former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump either, but they won't vote for her at all.

So, the Democrats are lying trying, because if they can peel off 20 percent or more of the evangelical vote, then Kamala Harris has won the presidency. So far they are simply muddying the waters by tying Trump to a national abortion ban. Distraction and disinformation are their finest tools.
