Harmeet Dhillon Goes Off on Pro-Life Activists Over Their Efforts to Suppress Votes for Trump

Pro-life activists are clutching the pearls over commentary former President and current GOP nominee Donald Trump posted on Truth Social. Trump was sarcastically posting about the Democrat National Convention and their platform of abortion without restrictions, as well as the "Molech Mobile" they had parked outside of the United Center in Chicago over the four days of the DNC.

This is consummate trolling by Trump, and the people who understand his truthing/posting game get it. The usual suspects? It always has to be gasps, outrage, and explanations.

Frankly, it's tiresome.

The argument is that the use of the term "reproductive rights" signals wanting broader access to abortion.

No, it does not. Just like the knee-jerk condemnation of Covington Catholic kid Nick Sandmann, they have it all wrong. As does Nancy French, wife of avowed Never Trumper and another "august" conservative, David French, who thinks that a categorically evil, pro-abortion Kamala Harris is a better choice than a horribly flawed Trump who engineered the greatest win for the pro-life movement during his four years in office than any of their chosen conservative presidents over the 50 years that Roe v. Wade was in place.

To Pro-Lifers overlooking Trump's convictions, his insurrection, and - well, all of it - because you are pro-life. Your candidate is not.  You don't have to do this.  You can vote for the Democrat in order to save the GOP and attempt to bring it back to being pro-life!

Take all the seats, Nancy.

But what is particularly grievous is the terrible takes by leading and influential pro-life activists like Live Action's Lila Rose.

Trump/Vance win zero votes by gutting the RNC platform on life, saying they support abortion pills and “reproductive rights,” and saying they would veto abortion bans.

Pro-abort voters are already voting Harris/Walz.

Trying to sound like a Democrat on abortion isn’t going to help Trump. It hurts him. It’s politically unwise and morally wrong.  It would help Trump campaign to cut the pro-abortion rhetoric and instead say, “I will fight for life.

Children are precious and worth fighting for. I will do everything to protect LIFE and help American families.”

Many people would love to support Trump, but becoming like Democrat on abortion hurts him.

Civil rights attorney Harmeet Dhillon has had enough. If anyone knows a thing or two about Vice President and selected Democrat nominee Kamala Harris, it's Dhillon. Dhillon has lived and practiced in San Francisco for decades and knows from the perspective of a California citizen AND as an experienced attorney how diabolically evil Kamala Harris and her policies are.

Dhillon represents pro-life activist David Daleiden. Then-Attorney General Kamala Harris targeted Daleiden at the behest of Planned Parenthood, and they are still draining his resources and trying to wear him down. All thanks to Harris, who now wants to continue these weaponization policies that President Joe Biden has gladly embraced. Sadly, these Christian pro-life purists and certain pro-life activists appear to have forgotten this and would rather bitch on X about how a former President is not properly representing the issue of life, when they appear to be doing a poor job supporting people on the front line who are fighting the good fight.

In a Daily Signal exclusive, Mary Margaret Olohan shared Daleiden's story and his ongoing legal fights.

In March 2016, top Planned Parenthood officials in California eagerly emailed one another about an upcoming meeting with the state’s then-attorney general, Kamala Harris. The meeting carried so much import that the Planned Parenthood officials met with Harris’ staff ahead of time “to discuss prep,” emails reviewed by The Daily Signal show.

About two weeks later, on April 5, 2016, California Department of Justice authorities raided the home of a pro-life journalist in his late 20s—David Daleiden, the head of the Center for Medical Progress, who had recently published videos allegedly showing Planned Parenthood officials gruesomely describing how they extract aborted-baby body parts. Daleiden says the videos prove that Planned Parenthood was selling the aborted baby body parts for profit.

How had Daleiden done this? By studying up on fetal tissue and stem cells, posing as a fetal tissue procurer, infiltrating secretive abortion conferences so protected that they required background checks, schmoozing and sweet talking abortionists, nurses, and researchers over lunch, drinks, and dinner, and wearing hidden cameras to capture what no other journalists had.

It was an “elaborate sting,” Politico reported at the time, disparaging Daleiden’s findings with the remark: “which he considers a form of investigative journalism.”

He did and does believe his work constitutes pro-life, undercover journalism. Daleiden considers abortions and the sale of aborted-baby tissue the most grotesque human rights violation of his age and was willing to devote all of his time and resources to proving that Planned Parenthood must be stopped.

Planned Parenthood has vehemently said Daleiden’s videos were deceptively edited and insisted that it was only reimbursed for costs, but after heavy backlash, they announced in 2015 they will no longer be reimbursed for costs. They also sued Daleiden. He has been involved in a relentless, nine-year-long legal battle, instigated by the California Attorney General’s Office, then under Harris and carried on by Xavier Becerra, both of whom are now serving in President Joe Biden’s administration.

And now that same AG is running for president of the United States. So, you would think that, despite their disagreements with Trump and his choice to leave the battle for life to the states and not get involved federally, they would coalesce around his run for president and encourage their networks to do the same. Instead, when faced with the clear and present danger of Kamala Harris, all they have is criticism. Dhillon has been speaking truth to power and letting them have it.

Prolife activists who are trying to suppress Republican votes over prolife policy differences, enabling enthusiastic abortion cheerleaders to write the rules and appoint the judges and prosecute the journalists, are grossly irresponsible and destructive to the prolife cause.

Preach it, sister. There are pro-life battles to be fought at the state and local level, such as the 11 ballot initiatives slated for the November election. Missouri, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, New York, Nevada, and South Dakota will vote on whether to codify abortion-on-demand in their state laws and constitutions, and the same money that paid for that disgusting mobile abortion clinic at the DNC will pay for non-stop advertisements and propaganda to convince the low information females and low-T males that this is the most critical issue of their time and that a woman's right to "reproductive care" will be ripped away if they do not vote YES. Rose, Abby Johnson, Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life, and others could be using their substantial influence to spread the truth about these initiatives and mobilize the pro-life community on the ground in these states on how to message the truth about these initiatives and champion a culture of life. Instead, they are bellyaching over a Republican platform that doesn't mention what they think it should and a presidential candidate who doesn't say what they want.

Frank Pavone of Priests for Life is one of the exceptions. He is fighting against Amendment 4, the Florida abortion initiative, because he sees the handwriting on the wall and is acting to head destruction off at the pass. Pavone is also supporting former President Trump. However, he clearly outlines what voting means and what it doesn't mean: the opportunity to advance good or allow evil to run amok. We have clearly seen which candidate will encourage one and which will foster the other.

WATCH:

Writer Peachy Keenan said it very well.

If you want women to have fewer abortions, the tool for this job is not DONALD TRUMP lol.

If Donald Trump is the only guy you are waiting on to deliver you the no-abortion utopia of your dreams, you might want to rethink your strategy.

Overturning Roe was about returning it to the States.

THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT and what the movement marched for - for decades.

Now your fight is in the state houses. Ohio, Kansas  - lots of low hanging fruit out there!

Not as high-profile as fighting with Trump but it will get you farther.

Suggesting a Trump boycott is a full-throated call for Kamala and Roe4Evah.

Exactly. Dhillon and others also pointed out a more insidious motive in these detractive stances.

It’s almost as if their goal is increasing their own perceived power instead of saving the lives of innocent children.

Boom.

The alliances that Trump is forming with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard have nothing to do with rejecting conservative principles or becoming more Democrat: it's about saving the lives of America's children. The execution may not be to the liking of certain voices in the pro-life movement, but the goal hasn't changed. It is a tragedy that many of these self-proclaimed activists appear to have forgotten this or are so focused on their loss of perceived power that they no longer care to.
