Whoopi Goldberg Plays Ethicist, Theologian and Philosopher on Abortion; It's As Dumb As You Expect

On Monday, a great ethicist, theologian, and philosopher appeared on ABC's "The View" to wax eloquent on abortion. Just kidding, it was only Whoopi Goldberg, who opened her yap as though she were all of those things to let you know that abortion on demand without restriction is a woman's right. In other words, it's another day ending in "Y."

To dissect the crazy, you need a Whoopi whisperer. Essentially, here's what Goldberg said and why it's a hot mess.

First, Goldberg said that no one is forcing you to have an abortion and that she'd rather you not have to have one.

However...

[...] but if you find yourself in a position where you have to, I want to make sure--and I'm way past having kids [...]. I want to make sure that if you decide this is what you need to do, I'm going to get behind you. Because I don't know your life, and if you say this is what you need, that's what I'm going to do. Fifty weeks, 75,000 weeks, whatever, how many weeks, it's nobody's business. It's you, your doctor, and God, that's who you have to be conversational to.

Wish Goldberg was that definitive when she was demanding people get vaccinated. In 2021, she decided she needed to show people how harmless it is by getting the jab on camera. The woman is triple boosted but managed to contract COVID three times. That vaccine decision wasn't a choice between you, your doctor, and God; you were required to do this. But killing babies? My body, my choice. Mind your business

Then there's that word "choice." If Goldberg has no issue with people's choices, then she should have no issue with pro-life centers and organizations that want to give women options for life as part of their decision-making process. Former "The View" co-host Elizabeth Hasselback brought up this point when she appeared on the program in 2022. Goldberg jumped down her throat over this, invoking God and the Golden Rule.

"Listen. I have no doubt, but I also know that God made me smart enough to know that if there are alternatives out there that can work for me, I will investigate them, but I also know God said, ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.’ I will not make that decision for anybody," she declared.

Whoopi also admitted in this exchange that her relationship with God is "always choppy." Then how does she deem herself able to speak on what God would and would not allow? Three months ago, Goldberg even admitted to the so-called "conservative" co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin that she didn't want to hear a conversation about the viability of a baby outside the womb and how that is rapidly decreasing. It's all about what "women" want.

So, to recap: Goldberg does not care about any restrictions on abortion, even when the child can (and will) survive if allowed to be carried to term and birthed. She does not care to hear about the possibility that a child may survive and that abortion laws need to factor this in. All she cares about is that you have no right to tell women what to do with their bodies. End of discussion, full stop.

Goldberg's comment about "You, your doctor, and God" also disregards the abortion pill, which currently can be distributed by anyone and obtained at your local pharmacy or through the mail. No doctor required. This is the locus of the case before SCOTUS, not that the abortion pill should not be distributed, but that it should not be allowed to be distributed outside of a doctor's consultation and care. But in the world of Goldberg, when it comes to the abortion pill, a relationship with a doctor doesn't factor in. My body, my choice. Mind your business.

Then Goldberg made this incredible statement: "It's not mentioned in the Big 10, I just want to say."

Meaning the Ten Commandments. Which begs the question: What part of commandment No. 6, "You shall not murder," does she not get? After Sunny Hostin alluded to that particular commandment, Goldberg went on a rant about war, the Crusades, and gun ownership.

Make it make sense.

That is where the Whoopi whisperer ends, and the insanity whisperer is required. But this insanity is just too huge to dissect in this article and, frankly, heartbreaking because it's being spread over national television to millions of viewers. Suffice to say that Goldberg and women like her will continue to double down on their "rights," no matter what the cost. Whether it be a dead child, a dead woman, or both. My body, my choice. Mind your business.

See, Gosnell, Kermit.
