Planet Fitness' Loose Policy on Men in Women's Bathroom Adds to Their Mounting Troubles

Planet Fitness is in a world of hurt since Libs of TikTok reported on an Alaskan woman who took a picture of a biological male shaving in the women's bathroom and posted it on social media. Planet Fitness canceled the woman's membership for violation of its photo and video policy, as my colleague Jeff Charles reported.

The original incident involved a woman named Patricia Silva, who took a picture of a biological male shaving in the women’s locker room. She shared the image on social media, telling her followers about the intrusion.

The incident occurred at the Fairbanks, Alaska, location. A woman recorded herself speaking about the ordeal when she said a person identifying as "queer LBG" was shaving in the female locker room.

Planet Fitness confirmed to Fox News Digital that the woman violated policy regarding taking photos and/or videos in the locker room, resulting in the loss of her membership.

"As the home of the Judgement Free Zone, Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment," Planet Fitness chief corporate affairs officer McCall Gosselin said in a statement to Fox News Digital. The statement continued:

"Our gender identity non-discrimination policy, states that members and guests may use the gym facilities that best align with their sincere, self-reported gender identity. The member who posted on social media violated our mobile device policy that prohibits taking photos of individuals in the locker room, which resulted in their membership being terminated."

If the company hoped that would be the end of the matter, they received a rude awakening. Two weeks later, Planet Fitness has experienced massive membership cancellations and their stock has been devalued by $400 million. However, the organization continues to double down on their decision to allow biological men into women's spaces. Now people are looping Libs of TikTok in on the goings on behind the scenes.

This former Planet Fitness member alleges that even though he stated the reason he canceled his membership was because of the situation with men being allowed in the women's changing room, the Planet Fitness manager would not input this reason.

WATCH:

Thanks to another Planet Fitness "insider," Libs of TikTok has uncovered that the company's allowance of biological men in women's spaces only requires the men self-identify as a woman. No I.D. or other proof required. This is even a part of management training as the screen shot below shows.

BREAKING: An insider within Planet Fitness sent us this image of a course that new hires are required to take. Planet Fitness confirms that their bathroom policy does not require any form of ID for men to enter the women's bathroom and anyone can use whichever bathroom they wish. All a man needs to do to undress in front of women is to "self-identify" as a woman.

And the stories continue to roll in. Apparently another woman in Michigan had the same experience as Patricia Silva of Alaska. The Michigan woman complained about a biological man in the women's locker room, was admonished by Planet Fitness staff for misgendering, and had her membership terminated for her crimes. Similar stories have come out of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

And this poor woman was being stalked by a registered sex offender who tracked her and other women at Planet Fitness. The woman had to file a police report before Planet Fitness would do anything about it.

This information is frightening, and the longer things drags out, the more anecdotal and documented incidents seem to spring up. The Planet Fitness PR firm must be working overtime.

But as long as major corporations choose to continue to go along with these WOKE agendas and DEI initiatives, women will continue to encounter unsafe spaces. Other major fitness centers, like 24 Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, and Catalyst Gym, also have the same "inclusive" policies for biological males who claim to self-identify as a woman.

Honestly, it will take a while for a competitive fitness brand to come along and counter this agenda. But former Levi's executive Jennifer Sey has recently started her own sportswear clothing line that prioritizes and champions biological women and women's sports, and it is taking off. It only takes one pebble to cause a ripple effect.
