Boston Radio's Howie Carr Reports on Mayor Michelle Wu's No-Whites Holiday Party

As my colleague Sister Toldjah reported, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu decided that her holiday party would only include "electeds of color." However, the invitation was sent to all the city council members, including the ones lacking in melanin content.

Awkward.

Remember when segregating folks by race was considered racist?

Well apparently in Boston, the mayor's office is trying to make racial segregation great again by holding a holiday party for "electeds of color." The only problem is that the email invite Democrat Mayor Michelle Wu's office sent out to city council members for the party, which is scheduled to take place Wednesday, also mistakenly included the white members of the council.

Wu rightly got a ton of flack for this tone-deaf move, but she still doubled down and insisted on holding her celebration, sans the pallid people. Boston radio host and conservative columnist Howie Carr grabbed the exclusive Daily Mail U.K. pictures, and according to his commentary, Wu hosted an interesting cast of characters. In his inimitable fashion, Carr dubbed it the "Wu Klux Klan" Party, which could not have been more appropriate.

I like Carr's connections, and that, along with the pictures, he spilled a bit of tea.

The most important question about Mayor Michelle Wu’s no-whites-allowed Christmas party at the Parkman House Wednesday night is obvious:

What if the reverse had happened – what if a white mayor had held a whites-only party at a city-owned building, after specifically disinviting all the non-white members of the City Council?

We all know the answer to that question. It would have been the end of the world, a national story for days if not weeks on end. On the night of the party, there would have been rioting, or looting and violence. Or should I say, more looting and violence than usual.

Right? How do we know this? Because certain local chapters of the group Moms for Liberty decided to support an "Operation White Christmas" drive with the National Justice Party. NJP does a toy drive to support white families in need because charitable organizations often give preference to lower income families of color. But yeah, there's no racism in that.

Carr continued:

And if it had been a white Republican mayor who had hosted it, every GOP politician in the nation down to the candidate for tree warden in Athol would have been asked to denounce it.

But since it was Wu Klux Klan gathering, we were told, as always, nothing to see here folks, move along. An “honest” mistake. Her dim-bulb coat holder, who sent out the email, apologized “for any confusion this may have confused.”

The confusion was, white people had thought they had something called equal rights, especially in public accommodations.

But so what? Most of state-run media gave it a good leaving-alone.

After all, Michelle Wu was just trying to put the “party” back into apartheid.

Carr pointed out the guests who didn't want to be photographed, for good reason.

I thought this Negro spiritual was for the "electeds of color"? How does a U.S. Congressperson's spouse get in the mix? Apparently, Conan Harris is doing his best Giselle Fetterman. Along with Sheriff Steve Tompkins, the rest of the crew also sported some questionable ethics violations.

Not only is this bunch colorful (pun fully intended), but sadly representative of left-leaning local governance. See, City Council, Los Angeles. Just like the Los Angeles City Council and their LAtinX Scandal that was exposed in 2022, the most problematic part of Mayor Wu's little soiree is the fact that it was done under cover of darkness. Had the Mayor's social secretary not made the mistake of sending the invitation out to everyone, no one would have been the wiser. Democracy may die in darkness, but apparently, racism thrives there.
