The Hill’s breathless headline wants you to know that this is a BIG deal:
“In Huge Step, California Governor Lifts Stay-at-Home Orders Across the State”
From the piece:
“Amid signs of improving COVID-19 conditions in California, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) lifted statewide stay-at-home orders Monday, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) said.
“The move allows restaurants to open for outdoor dining options and salons to resume indoor appointments. Outdoor church services are also permitted. Reopening options apply to regions including the San Francisco Bay Area, Central Valley and Southern California and marks the first reopening opportunity since December.
“The state will now revert to a county tier system, which eases lockdowns depending on case rates and gives local officials the option to set their own restrictions, KCRA reports.”
You can now officially eat outside… in the rain. But your school can’t open and you can’t play most sports… but yeah we’re open. 🤦

Like Assemblyman James Gallagher, I’m giving the side eye. We all know that Governor Newsom is walking backwards, trying to cover his glaringly exposed ass.
Just before these leaks of a Monday reopening—and you know they were leaks—Reporters and the people wanted to know the “Why” behind these sudden shifts in COVID policy that were fueling Newsom’s decisions. These are also key questions being asked by Assemblymembers James Gallagher and Kevin Kiley in their Court of Appeals case against Newsom’s Executive Orders.
Newsom and his “Doctor of Death” Mark Ghaly, had this to say to us:
“California Gov. Gavin Newsom has from the start said his coronavirus policy decisions would be driven by data shared with the public to provide maximum transparency.
“But with the state starting to emerge from its worst surge, his administration won’t disclose key information that will help determine when his latest stay-at-home order is lifted.
“State health officials said they rely on a very complex set of measurements that would confuse and potentially mislead the public if they were made public.
“State health officials said they rely on a very complex set of measurements that would confuse and potentially mislead the public if they were made public.”
Our public officials think we are too dumb to see the data they use for their #COVID decisions.https://t.co/qXwvBJql8p— Bill Melugin (@BillFOXLA) January 22, 2021
In other words, our science is so magical, so complex, that mere mortals are just not smart enough to understand what we’re doing. Trust us, we’re the experts.
Sacramento County Sheriff Jones confirmed the attitude of the Governor and his minions weeks ago at the Re-Open Cal Now Conference:
“Look, we’re all smart. Although, I don’t think the politicians really believe we are . I think they do things that maybe even they believe in. But they feel that they’re smarter than us, that we don’t have the wherewithal to make decisions that are the best for us.”
- These are the same “smart” experts who, in the middle of Stay-At-Home lockdown orders, dined out at the French Laundry, indoors, without masks, against their own regulations.
- These same “smart” experts also have their children in in-person learning, while your children languish on Zoom, and parents lose work time and pull their hair out.
- These same “smart” experts who continue to collect a paycheck while the majority of our citizens cannot work, and others cannot even collect unemployment because of unchecked EDD fraud.
Oh, those “smart” experts! Yeah, they’ve done a bang up job so far, so we’ll continue to trust them; after all, we’re just stupid citizens.
This allows them to mislead the public and have all the power. That’s the purpose of all of this

These are also the same “smart” experts who were slapped down by a Superior Court Judge in Los Angeles because they had no scientific data to back up their closure of outdoor dining back in December.
Secret magic science is not a thing.

Let all that sink in.
I can only come to one conclusion: Newsom is smelling his farts from his exposed ass and getting high off them.
Translation: when we said icus had zero capacity, we were lying.

At least one “smart health expert” weighed in, and called BS.
“Dr. Lee Riley, chairman of the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health infectious disease division, disagreed.
“ ‘There is more uncertainty created by NOT releasing the data that only the state has access to,’ he said in an email. ‘Its release would allow outside experts to assess its value for projecting trends and the resulting decisions on lifting restrictions,’ he wrote.”
That is exactly what Newsom does not want: outside experts assessing his decisions. He wants one-man rule and he wants the people to languish in their uncertainty, because when you are uncertain, you are not sure how to act.
Which is why the citizens of California stopped listening to him months ago. I haven’t willingly tuned in to a Newsom press conference since March of 2020; I wonder what the viewership has been lately?
So what’s a boy to do when you show your ass, put your foot in your mouth, and nobody wants to listen to you? Why, let’s Re-open the State! Give the plebes something to focus on other than me. We have Joe BidenDementia’s administrationregime in place, so it’s all good.
California's dictator of a governor, the terrible Gavin Newsom, is about to get recalled…. so to save his butt he's deciding to reopen the state.
This was never about "science," it's always been about politics.

Christian is on the nose and it’s not only transparently obvious, but horribly clunky. But, the only thing slick about this Governor is the hair gel he uses.
Newsom is about to get Recalled by We The “Stupid” People, and he knows it. His hope? That reopening will be the bright shiny object that distracts California voters so that the Recall efforts do not reach its required goal of 1.459 million signatures by March 17.
Apropos of nothing in particular, it’s a classic authoritarian move to deprive citizens of liberty and then award small doses at random to make them seem like gifts.

Newsom’s gotten really high off those farts if he thinks that’s going to happen. Now that the Recall effort has reached 1.2 million signatures, his Democrat colleagues and rich Getty connections are throwing everything at the wall to save their Golden Boy with the killer coif.
On Saturday, the Los Angeles Times wrote a hit piece against the Recall efforts, painting organizers and activists as right-wing, connected to QAnon, and associated with the Proud Boys. All the “clutch the pearls” groups the Left, the donor class, and squishy Republicans hate.
Randy Economy, Senior Advisor and Media Spokesman for RecallGavin2020 posted on the Recall website,
“The Los Angeles Times has sunk to an all-time low in its bias [sic] coverage of the official recall campaign, to create a divisive and polarizing narrative. The article is an obvious attempt to stifle progress, distract the public and bully others from getting involved.”
Ding! Ding! Ding! There is a California non-partisan grassroots group that was asked to get involved in the Recall, and they were hesitant because they didn’t want to be a part of a “partisan” effort. So, the disinformation is doing its work, and must be countered.
Economy continues,
“ ‘Good, hardworking and dedicated volunteers from all walks of life, political backgrounds and socio-economic levels are laser focused on the task at hand, and that is the successful removal of California Governor Gavin Newsom from office in 2021.”
Make no mistake, Newsom and Queen Nancy have plans to take Newsom national, whether by hook or crook; a Recall would taint this, bigly. Which is all the more reason to see it through. Newsom and his failed policies do not deserve any more attention or progress in this State, let alone given a national stage.
But it’s also a reflection of a Californian awakening. The Recall is enshrined in our State Constitution to ensure citizens, no matter what their political or apolitical stripe, continue to have a voice. The State and our Federal government have veered far from governance of the people, for the people, and by the people, and this Recall is a significant point of correction.
And California and the Nation desperately need correction.
Everywhere I go I see enthusiastic signature gatherers. This movement is driven by not just anger but aspiration. A belief that we can do so, so much better.

If you are in California and have not yet signed the petition, print it out at RecallGavin2020.com, sign it, and get signatures from other citizens. If you have friends and family in California, encourage them to do so.
I want to see California lead the way… to better. We The People, smart, stupid, or otherwise, can do it.
