You Get What You Get

Supporters were somehow expecting something different?

Regrets are flooding Twitter like an exaltation of Egrets: beautiful to behold, but ultimately leaving a massive trail of poop. You can’t say you weren’t warned.

People are shocked.. Literally SHOCKED that Joe Biden’s policies are… bad for the country.

*Gasp* <clutch the pearls>, but… but… but, we voted for Transgender equality at the expense of our women of color and daughters.

Ummm, yeah.

Apparently not. The Hill, not exactly a White Supremacist or Right-Wing rag had this to say back in May of 2020:

“Does Biden’s record warrant such confidence? Not really. In fact, Biden has a long history of lying — about himself, about his past and about events that never took place.

“Democrats want the 2020 campaign to be a referendum on President Trump. Fine, but if this is to be a contest of characters, it is only appropriate that Joe Biden’s history of fabrication and deceit – often intended to bolster his intellectual credentials – also be fair game.”

From a history of plagiarism, to lying about the gains and policies of the Obama-Biden administration, to what he planned to do on Day 1 if he was elected president. People had a 47-year recorded history of Biden’s lies, his racism, his flip-flops, and his predilection toward inappropriate behavior with young women and children.

But that Bad Orange Man…

Jesse Kelly had this to say about suburban women. Yeah, no more mean tweets, but your daughters? That’s another story.

That pledge to not banning fracking except on federal lands? Yeah, well

“President Joe Biden’s 60-day moratorium on new oil and natural gas leases and drilling permits is prompting widespread concerns in New Mexico, where spending on education and other public programs hinges on the industry’s success.

Top Republicans in the state as well as local leaders in communities that border the Permian Basin — one of the most productive regions in the U.S. — say any moves to make permanent the suspension would be economically devastating for the state. Half of New Mexico’s production happens on federal land and amounts to hundreds of millions of dollars in royalties each year.”

A poor journalist got a revelation that the Paris Accord might not have been all it’s cracked up to be.

One soul—a lifelong New Yorker—who obviously knew all about New Mexico and their economy, weighed in with this:

He immediately got checked, because, not every place is like New York. Duh.

But, in the end…

Lesson learned? Not even sure about that one.

Now we have the BIG LIE about COVID. Before swearing on the Bible, Biden had this to say about the COVID recovery strategy:

“President-elect Joe Biden pledged Friday to boost supplies of coronavirus vaccine and set up new vaccination sites to meet his goal of 100 million shots in 100 days. It’s part of a broader COVID strategy that also seeks to straighten out snags in testing and ensure minority communities are not left out.

“ ‘Some wonder if we are reaching too far,’ Biden said. ‘Let me be clear, I’m convinced we can get it done.’

“The real payoff, Biden said, will come from uniting the nation in a new effort grounded in science.

“Biden spoke a day after unveiling a $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan’ to confront the virus and provide temporary support for a shaky economy. About $400 billion of the plan is focused on measures aimed at controlling the virus. Those range from mass vaccination centers to more sophisticated scientific analysis of new strains and squads of local health workers to trace the contacts of infected people.”

Now that he’s installed, Biden has changed his tune:

Biden warned on Friday that as the outbreak continues, there’s nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months.’ The president has repeatedly warned that the situation is likely to worsen before it improves.”

Brace yourselves, tax increases everywhere, and what happened to the COVID stimulus?

Getting what you vote for; what a concept. Amazingly, there are people still waiting with bated breath for universal healthcare. How long have they been promising this? With the current track record, how long will it be before it materializes?

Until and unless we can find some way to get rid of the scourge of Biden-Harris, that’s about the size of it.
