Donald Trump Angrily Tweets Denial of Buzzfeed Dossier; Cites Russia For Support

Buzzfeed released unconfirmed information that accuses President-Elect Trump of some pretty salacious stuff. Let’s just say that there are probably some ‘Don’t eat yellow snow’ jokes to be found on Twitter. Interestingly enough, this information is not new. It’s been floating around for several months. News agencies haven’t been able to confirm the allegations and therefore have held off. Buzzfeed published the details. CNN says top intelligence officials did brief Trump on some claims (and according to Jake Tapper is not related to what Buzzfeed posted) regarding sensitive personal and financial information that is currently being circulated inside the intelligence community.

Trump does what he always does when he’s upset: takes to Twitter to air his grievances. He’d be an expert at Festivus gatherings. It started last night with this tweet:

This morning he woke up and kept right on going. The first tweet is a doozy:

“Russia just said….”

I can picture Vladimir Putin laughing.

Somebody tell President-Elect Trump his pants are on fire because this is a lie. The Washington Post reported on Trump’s financial ties to Russia:

Still, the weekend was fruitful for Trump. He received a portion of the $14 million paid by Agalarov and other investors to bring the pageant to Moscow. Agalarov said he and Trump signed an agreement to build a Trump Tower in the heart of Moscow — at least Trump’s fifth attempt at such a venture. And Trump seemed energized by his interactions with Russia’s financial elite at the pageant and a glitzy after-party in a Moscow nightclub.

Trump has conveyed a different view, informed in part through his business ambitions. Since the 1980s, Trump and his family members have made numerous trips to Moscow in search of business opportunities, and they have relied on Russian investors to buy their properties around the world.

“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Trump’s son, Donald Jr., told a real estate conference in 2008, according to an account posted on the website of eTurboNews, a trade publication. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

Not sure what this has to do with anything. Besides, he did not win “easily.” He won, but should still keep mind that a swing of 70,000 votes would have saddled him with a humiliating loss. Granted, such behavior is reserved for people with self-awareness.

This from the guy who repeated conspiracy theory garbage about Ted Cruz’s father being involved in the Kennedy assassination.
