The three of you are sucking up 24% of the vote in South Carolina and about that much for the rest of the race. Here is the bottom line: If you three stay in for your own vanity, Donald Trump will likely be the Republican nominee for President never winning more than 35% of the vote.
When looking at polls and they ask, “Who is your second choice?” the answer is, “Not Jeb, John or Ben.” No, the bulk of the support goes to Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Some goes to Trump but not enough to win.
Repeat after me gentleman: “I am going to stay in the race because I want to see Donald Trump as the nominee and Hillary Clinton elected President.”
Have you seen those polls? Do you see who wins between Hillary and Trump? Hillary, nearly every single time. And big. It won’t be a squeaker. Trump’s unfavorables are so high, he is going to lose like nobody’s business.
Do the three of you see what you’re doing? Specifically you John Kasich, you ass. This email just went out:
Kasich for America Chief Strategist John Weaver issued the following statement tonight after the polls closed in South Carolina:
“Tonight it became a four-person race for the nomination. Only four candidates have top-three finishes in any of the early states and can justify staying in. At the same time, John Kasich has now won the so-called ‘Governors Bracket’ by continuing to run strong and beat expectations. While others were making their last stand in South Carolina, John Kasich strengthened his organization and support–despite being outspent by tens of millions of dollars.
Are you still hitting the bong, Governor? You’re going to finish a distant fourth or fifth tonight. Distant. That means, “Not close.”
As I was writing this, Jeb Bush has indeed dropped out of the race.
You’re up Kasich and Carson.
Your country is counting on you. Jeb Bush showed leadership by getting out. Do the same thing.
