Last night at the CNBC debate, [mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] had a very, very good night. Even leftwing activists liked his answers and attack on the media. Liberal Hollywood comedian Patton Oswalt tweeted, “I hate Ted Cruz with the power of a million chainsaws revving but I agree with everything he just said.”
Today, people are still cheering on Cruz’s comment about the Democrats’ debate.
Here’s the thing though — Cruz barely spoke. He got only around seven minutes of talk time compared to, for example, Carly Fiorina who had a less than memorable performance.
Cruz used every word wisely and his attacks on the media and defense of single mothers resonated outside conservative demographics. He really is just that good.
