In the history of all the world, there has never been a war that could not be won by killing more bad guys than they kill of the good guys. But Marie Harf, the State Department spokeswoman making international headlines for being a damn naive fool, claims we cannot win this war by killing the bad guys. According to Harf, we need to root out “underlying causes” and create jobs. So a Presidency that rejects nation building thinks we must, essentially, nation build to win the war.

I realize the Obama Administration is composed of a bunch of secular, atheist God haters, but this is just naive dumbassery. As has now been well established, the Islamic State is, in fact Islamic, and intends to expand a Caliphate and bring about the Apocalyse.

Jobs, elevation out of poverty, and kumbaya will not bring about the return of Jesus and the 12th Imam. Marie Harf and her masters in Washington may not believe in Jesus, Muhammad, or that the Islamic State is Islamic, but the Islamic State and its adherents believe in all of them in a way, even of Jesus, that left-wing Christians cannot comprehend as real.

In the Graeme Wood piece in the Atlantic that explores “What ISIS Really Wants,” Wood concludes with a bit from George Orwell. Orwell said, “Fascism … is psychologically far sounder than any hedonistic conception of life … Whereas Socialism, and even capitalism in a more grudging way, have said to people “I offer you a good time,” Hitler has said to them, “I offer you struggle, danger, and death,” and as a result a whole nation flings itself at his feet … We ought not to underrate its emotional appeal.”

Marie Harf wants to offer comfort, jobs, and income. But a lot of comfortable Westerners are joining ISIS because they want adventure, struggle, danger, and death. A jobs program for Lackcrapistan is not nearly as appealing as bringing on the second coming of Jesus.

If Marie Harf and her masters in Washington wish to transpose their own lack of faith, or secularized liberal “Christianity” on an Apocalyptic Death Cult, not only are they idiots, but our nation is screwed. We have no means of defeating an enemy who wants to end the world when we’re trying to figure out, instead, how to empathize with them and give them a seat at the table as Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Marie Harf want to do.

In the spirit of the Real World, it is time to stop being polite and start getting real. Our foreign policy is being run by a bunch of naive fools who think the rest of the world, including third world apocalyptic death cults, thinks just like them.
