President Trump and Sean Hannity were discussing the widespread vandalism of national monuments during a taped Fox News town hall. The President told Hannity, “At some point, there is going to be retribution because there has to be. These people are vandals. They’re agitators, but they’re really, they’re terrorists in a sense.”

I would certainly agree with that. The destruction of property, whether it be privately owned businesses or national monuments, goes way beyond the First Amendment’s right to assemble peacefully.

Humpty Dumpty over at CNN (Brian Stelter), knowing his viewers would see it as he does, immediately took to Twitter to say, “There we go again with the president using the word “terrorists.””

Fancy that. Imagine the gall of calling the mobs who show up with spray paint, tools and ropes to destroy a historical landmark, terrorists!

Former NRA spokeswoman and radio host Dana Loesch wasn’t about to let Stelter’s ludicrous comment go. She instantly swatted him down with two terrific tweets:

I’m curious, have you ever objected as vociferously whenever I and other law-abiding gun owners were referred to as “terrorists” on your network? We never vandalized monuments or burned down buildings.

I mean, there is a sitting congresswoman who called me and others “domestic security threats” but by all means, everyone clutch your pearls if the Antifa people burning down buildings, beating people in the streets, are referred to as “terrorists.”

Writer Chad Felix Greene also saw the irony in Stelter’s remark and fired back. Recalling the liberal uproar after armed men entered the Michigan statehouse to protest Gov. Whitmer’s strict lockdown orders in May, he posted a tweet Hillary Clinton had sent at the time.

FYI Hill: It is legal in the state of Michigan to carry arms into the statehouse.
