In response to calls from Black Lives Matter to “defund the police,” woke politicians all across America are working hard to oblige. It’s so important, you know.

On Monday, the mayor  of Albuquerque, NM, Tim Keller, announced a “first of its kind concept for our city – a civilian public safety branch.” He envisions sending social workers to respond to some 911 calls. This would include calls for “inebriation, homelessness, addiction and mental health.”

You must be thinking this can’t possibly end well.

Actor James Woods didn’t think so either. So he put together the following tweet thread that proves it won’t end well.

Less than 30 minutes after Woods posted, he received word from the powers that be at Twitter notifying him there had been a complaint, to which he responded, “Quick. Call a social worker! A liberal has her/his/its panties in a twist.”

Enjoy the thread.
