As Ticket Requests for Trump's OK Rally Surpass 800,000, Panicked Libs Widely Condemn 'This Superspreader Event'

Even as the protests sparked by the death of George Floyd turned into riots, bringing widespread destruction, looting, and loss of life, liberal politicians and pundits have expressed their overwhelming and unwavering support.

But as demand for tickets to President Trump’s forthcoming Tulsa, OK rally climbs to epic proportions, with a whopping 800,000 ticket requests as of Sunday at noon, the stunning hypocrisy of liberals has been on full display. Suddenly, after three weeks of silence, we’re hearing shock that the President would hold a “superspreader” event.

In an angry tone of voice, Dr. Vin Gupta told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” viewers the following:

We need the President and the Vice President to not undermine the adversaries of the public health world. You have the President about to have a superspreader event in Tulsa!

The fact that he’s asking for informed consent of his supporters before a rally where there’s gonna be no social distancing or masking, is egregious!

That’s what I do before I do a procedure in the ICU because I know there might be harm. But there’s potential benefit. What’s the benefit to these supporters?

Giving applause to the President makes no sense. We need to stop that. We need to ban political rallies. We need to encourage masking. And frankly, make it mandatory. I’ve been saying that for weeks. And contact tracing.

According to Newsbusters, last Monday Gupta appeared on MSNBC’s “Deadline” and told host Nicolle Wallace he had participated in a Seattle protest. “Nudged by Nicolle Wallace on Deadline White House, he said ‘I was out with other physicians and nurses in Seattle over the weekend, where we had a Doctors for Justice March.'”

Gupta is hardly alone. U.S. News & World Report published an article entitled, “Trump Rally Called ‘Dangerous Move’ in Age of Coronavirus.” Its subtitle warns readers that “Health experts are questioning President Donald Trump’s decision to rally his supporters at a large indoor arena in Oklahoma.”

The New York Times reported on Sunday that “Trump Rally Is the ‘Perfect Storm Setup,’ for Viral Spread, Disease Expert Says.”

And this morning, The Washington Post runs a piece entitled “Live updates: Public health experts warn of coronavirus risks at Trump’s Tulsa rally.”

With a total death toll of 359, Oklahoma is among the states which have been least hard-hit by COVID-19. It is also one of the most “open” states in the U.S.

The Democrats are well aware of the power of President Trump’s rallies. It’s an arena in which he shines. On June 12, Trump Campaign Manager Brad Parscale tweeted there had been 200,000 ticket requests for the OK rally. Two days later, that number had quadrupled. That’s pretty impressive by anyone’s standards.

In the meantime, Democrats have bet the ranch on Joe Biden, a man who is in the early stages (or beyond) of cognitive decline. He remains in his basement because Democrats want him to remain in his basement. Just ask former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

Every virtual appearance Biden makes provides Republicans with a new sound bite. The image of Joe Biden with his mask dangling from his ear like an earring on Friday was a sight to behold. Although it’s sad to watch a loved one fall into dementia, the Biden family and the Democratic Party have seen fit to make him their (presumptive) presidential nominee.

Since he is in no condition to hold a campaign rally, let alone run a country, they’re back to pushing their “coronavirus kills” narrative again after three weeks of cheering on the protestors, the rioters, and the looters. Even in his younger, healthier days, people weren’t exactly flocking to his rallies. Until the Democratic machine cranked up ahead of the South Carolina primary, Biden had never won a state in a presidential primary and he’d made two previous attempts.

The Democrats may believe they’re fooling people with their lies and hypocrisies, but tens of millions of Americans have watched the Party’s mounting corruption and abuses of power over the past four years and although they are silent, they will cast their votes in November, and they will be heard.

It’s too late to lecture Americans about social distancing and contact tracing.

The Democrats have gone too far and they’ve lost a tremendous amount of credibility.

I’ll conclude with this little gem from Thomas Sowell, a current senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, who wonders if Democrats have reached the ultimate stage of absurdity? Sowell writes:

“Have we reached the ultimate stage of absurdity where some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, while other people are not held responsible for what they themselves are doing today?”

Yes, I believe we have.
