More “journalism” from The Washington Post.
A group of Washington Post reporters “reconstructed” law enforcement efforts to clear protestors from Washington D.C.’s Lafayette Square ahead of President Trump’s highly criticized visit to St. John’s Church on June 1. The reporters then prepared a video which details the timeline of actions taken by the Park Police and federal officers to secure the area. (The video can be viewed by clicking on the tweet below.
A week ago this evening, one of the most violent scenes ever caught on camera unfolded outside The White House. Thousands of mostly peaceful protesters were pushed, gassed and shot at. Please watch our reconstruction of a defining hour Trump’s presidency:https://t.co/5TKDILjiMf

The previous night, arsonists had tried to set fire to St. John’s Church. Fortunately, the attempt was largely unsuccessful.
The WaPo’s Aaron Davis describes what ensued as “one of the most violent scenes ever caught on camera. Thousands of mostly peaceful protesters were pushed, gassed and shot at.”
One of the most violent scenes ever caught on camera?
These reporters have presumably been covering wars and genocides throughout their “journalism” careers and this was one of the most violent scenes they’d ever caught on camera?
The first violent scene to come to mind is 9/11, you know, the day that ‘some people did something.’
But we needn’t go back quite that far. The peaceful protests of the last two weeks have provided a never-ending parade of violent images. Here are ten events from the last two weeks that are far more violent than watching protestors who refused to leave an area when asked, being cleared by police.
- The murder of David Dorn.
We live in an age of symbols. One bad cop murders a black man and the country explodes. So I have two humble suggestions:
1. Let's hit Portland's Antifa like nothing has ever been hit.
2. Let's solve Officer David Dorn's murder at all costs. @realDonaldTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr pic.twitter.com/190SiE1i7L— Sherlock Homes 😷 (@Sherlockhome69) June 3, 2020

7. Riots in Boston.
It seemed like the police were taking the shots on the chin, but within minutes it was like a war zone. There were a bunch of explosions and screams that sounded just like the fireworks celebration just earlier. But then a tear gas/smoke bomb canister landed right in front of me. pic.twitter.com/gLo62duy6B
