Activist actress Rose McGowan published screen shots of the questions The New York Times’ “journalists” prepared for Biden accuser Tara Reade.

To her credit, McGowan has been supportive of Tara Reade over the last couple of months.

None of us have any way of knowing whether or not Reade is telling the truth about being sexually assaulted by Joe Biden. We will likely never know. But certainly, with six people willing to corroborate her story, it appears more credible than Christine Blasey Ford’s 2018 testimony against Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

It’s understandable why the media would want to scrutinize Reade. She has accused the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee of sexual assault. But the level of intrusiveness of this set of questions is quite remarkable.

The questions can be viewed in McGowan’s text message, but I would like to highlight several of them. You’ll notice that most of them are asking Reade to hand over ammunition for the media to use against her.

They ask extremely personal questions about her mother’s drinking, Reade’s marriage – and divorce, her husband’s legal issues, why she chose to move from one place to another and her financial problems.

“You and your brother have both described your mother as an activist — can you tell us what sort of issues she advocated for? We noticed in old newspaper clips that she was involved in at least one fight over healthcare rights.”

“Edward Walker – was your boyfriend, right? I remember you filed a complaint against him in April 2011 because he hit your daughter. But then neighbors told me that you moved to Aptos together and kept the radio show going. So what happened there?”

“Various landlords said you left them owing money and property in disarray – can you respond to that?”

“We heard that after your car was repossessed friends sold you their vehicle and let you pay it with a no interest loan but that you struggled to make those payments and they took it back. Is that true?”

“Also, several people told me you were dating a Russian man online in the spring of 2019. Is that true? How did you meet and can you tell me about the relationship?”

“On Quora you followed three Russian individuals – Andrey Davydov, Dima Vorobiev and Alex Korolev. How was it that you came to know of them and follow them?”

And there is a lovely photo of Reade as a young woman.

Can you imagine if Fox News had sent a list of similar questions to Christine Blasey Ford?

I guess this is what happens when a Democrat is accused of sexual assault.
