The Trump Campaign commissioned a poll which surveyed 900 voters across 30 Trump won districts where a Democrat now holds the seat in Congress. (This poll excludes Rep. Jeff Van Drew’s district.)

The news is not favorable for the Democrats. The biggest takeaway shows 53% of voters in those districts oppose impeachment while only 43% are in favor.

Voters preferred a generic Republican candidate over a generic Democratic candidate by a margin of 47% to 44%.

Asked if they preferred the incumbent to a new candidate, 47% of voters chose a new candidate and 36%, the incumbent.

Next, voters were asked if their current Congressman or woman voted yes to impeachment, would they be more or less likely to vote for their reelection. 38% said they would be less likely while only 29% indicated they would be more likely.

Voters were asked to either agree or disagree with several statements.

Congress should move past impeachment and work on other pressing issues and let the voters decide next November.

62% agreed (56% strongly agreed).

36% disagreed (29% strongly agreed).

Congress should stop wasting time and tax dollars on impeachment and start focusing on the real problems Americans face.

61% agreed (56% strongly agreed)

38% disagreed (31% strongly disagreed)

The remaining questions dealt with other issues. 68% of voters would prefer to see Congress passing legislation to lower prescription drug prices vs. 25% would rather they continue spending time on impeachment. 66% would prefer they spent time on new trade deals and job creation vs. 29% on impeachment. And 66% would rather they take steps to fix America’s crumbling infrastructure vs. 27% on impeachment.

These numbers do not bode well for the 30 Democratic Congressmen and women who walked the plank for Nancy Pelosi. Parscale notes the Democrats are going into election season with a slight disadvantage which will become more serious once they cast their vote for impeachment.

Good news for Republicans.
