On Tuesday night as MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow was handing off her show to her colleague, Lawrence O’Donnell, he announced that a source had informed him that President Trump’s Deutsche Bank loans had been co-signed by Russian oligarchs. I posted about this here.

In the meantime, on Wednesday morning, President Trump’s attorney sent a brutal letter to NBC Universal brass demanding that both O’Donnell and NBCU “immediately and prominently retract, correct and apologize for the aforementioned false and defamatory statements.” This letter can be viewed here.
O’Donnell quickly fired off the following tweet, and promised to address the issue on his show tonight.
Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president’s finances that didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process. I shouldn’t have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight.

In the meantime, upon hearing O’Donnell’s big scoop last night, actress Alyssa Milano sent off an obnoxious tweet of her own. Classy.
After O’Donnell’s retraction, many were wondering if Milano would delete it.
You gonna delete this or nah?

At 6 pm, it was still up.
By 7:30 pm, it was gone.
