Major Source of Nellie Ohr's Research Given to FBI Was Ukrainian Official Whose Early Release From Prison Is Credited to...Hillary Clinton

US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, right, looks at a phone message with Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Philip Gordon as they wait in a conference room for a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President during the 48th Munich Security Conference at the Bayerischer Hof hotel in Munich, southern Germany, on Saturday Feb. 4, 2012. The Security Conference is a three-day event bringing together top defense and diplomacy officials from around the world discussing the winding down of the NATO engagement in Afghanistan and other looming challenges. As bits and pieces of information about the deep state’s efforts to bring down Donald Trump’s candidacy continue to trickle in, the magnitude of wrongdoing has become nearly incomprehensible. So consumed by their hatred of Trump and so convinced that Clinton would win the election, these players were willing to jeopardize their careers to do their part.

A recent IG report focuses on the role of Nellie Ohr who worked for Fusion GPS providing research about members of the Trump family. Her research was provided to the FBI by her husband, Bruce Ohr, who at that time was the fourth highest ranking DOJ official.

In her 2018 testimony before Congress, Nellie Ohr told lawmakers that much of her research came from open internet sources. The rest, said, had come from Ukrainian officials, one of whom was member of Parliament (and former Ukrainian presidential candidate) Yulia Tymoshenko.

Nellie Ohr’s research was contained on two thumb drives. “One alleged that unverified ties existed between the Trump organization and Russian mobsters; the other provided a timeline alleging wrongdoing by former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort.”

In documents obtained by Judicial Watch earlier this week, much of the information included in the timeline of Manafort’s misdeeds came a lawsuit Tymoshenko had filed against him.

The Hill’s John Solomon points out the significance of this information. Nobody would be surprised to hear that in January 2013, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “went out of her way to advocate for Tymoshenko’s release from prison on corruption charges.”

According to a Reuters article published on January 22, 2013, Clinton wrote a letter of support to Tymoshenko in prison indicating she was “following Tymoshenko’s plight with great concern.”

Reuters reported:

KIEV, Jan 22 (Reuters) – The United States on Tuesday sent a message of support to jailed Ukrainian ex-prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko, ignoring new accusations against her by Ukrainian authorities relating to the killing of a business rival 16 years ago.

Tymoshenko is already serving a seven-year jail sentence for abuse-of-office.

Authorities have since piled up fresh charges against the 52-year-old politician, the most serious being last Friday when Ukraine’s chief prosecutor said she was also suspected of ordering the contract killing of a parliamentary deputy and businessman in 1996.

“I … want to reaffirm that the United States supports your immediate release. I hope the New year brings new prospects for your release and wish you a return to good health,” the letter, which was passed on to Tymoshenko via the U.S. embassy, said.

Lo and behold, Hillary’s intervention was effective and Yulia Tymoshenko was released from prison.

Obama administration officials had close relationships with many Ukrainian officials and I’ve posted previously about their political impact (articles listed below). Taken together, a picture emerges of how those who were involved in these cozy relationships had tried to influence a U.S. election. The effect was far greater than any of the ads the Russians may have placed on Facebook. All of this must be exposed to American voters to prevent anything like this from happening again.
