Be Careful What You Wish For, “Made To Care” Edition

I’ve made no secret of my longstanding skepticism of Wanker Wayne the Frenchman Fudd and his Weasel Wonks and Fairfax Ferrets at NRA HQ, but given the full-court press against the NRA and gun rights in general of late… I’ve come to believe the time has come to rally around the flagpole, because if the rock (weak as it sometimes may be) that is America’s largest gun rights organization is cracked, the others will be swept away like so much crushed gravel. So I’m going to issue a challenge: I just started an installment-plan Life Membership, and I’m challenging anyone out there who owns a gun or cares about 2A rights to match it. $600, paid $25 a month for two years… it’s giving up one or two Starbucks crappy-cinos a week. I mean,  I’m pretty much kept afloat mainly by the stipend that comes from being my mother’s live-in caregiver, and… if I can do it YOU can do it. To steal one of the Left’s own hashtags, #StrongerTogether…

Quote of the Day

In honor of the rampant Snowflakery in our educational institutions:

An education isn’t how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It’s being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don’t.–Anatole France

And an apt description of much of the media including some here:

Rage is the only quality which has kept me, or anybody I have ever studied, writing columns for newspapers.–Jimmy Breslin

As always, the Watercooler is an Open Thread. And as so eloquently coined by ntrepid, “Thanks for the click! Your effort helps fund future posts of this nature.”

“It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong.”–Voltaire
