At least 6 people are dead and 26 are hospitalized after a shooting at an Independence Day parade in Highland Park, Illinois.
The suspect is a white male between 18 and 20 years old, local police said in a press conference. A manhunt is underway for the suspect, who also reportedly has long black hair, a small build, and is wearing a white or blue t-shirt, WGN News’ Dan Ponce reported.

His firearm was found at the scene by law enforcement, and the authorities are still asking people to shelter in place, according to CBS Chicago.
