Multiple People Reportedly Injured in Shooting at Racine, Wisconsin Cemetery

Multiple shots were fired at Graceland Cemetery in Racine, Wisconsin, Thursday afternoon, reportedly during the funeral of a man who was killed by police last week, leaving five people injured, according to several reports, including from WMBD News.

“At 2:26pm there were multiple shots fired at Graceland Cemetery. There are victims but unknown how many at this time,” Racine Police Department tweeted.

“The scene is still active and being investigated. We will update you when more details become available.”

The New York Post reports that some of those shot were family members mourning the death of Da’Shontay L. King Sr., who “was killed by Racine police officers on May 20 following a foot chase that began as a traffic stop.after being shot by a Racine police officer.”
