Mark Udall, the Partisan High Jumper

Here’s the pattern. President Obama and Harry Reid say jump and Senator Mark Udall asks how high.

Yesterday, Udall jumped over more than 200 years of history to rubber stamp the Obama/Harry Reid move changing the Senate rules to allow judicial and executive branch nominees to be approved by a simple majority.

This will make it easier for President Obama to get his way on his liberal judicial and executive branch appointments.

As a U.S. Senator, Obama opposed this radical change in Senate rules. As President, he finds the rules inconvenient and frustrating. He’s no longer concerned about preserving the rights of the minority in the Senate. Neither is Mark Udall.

With his vote yesterday, Mark Udall helps make the U.S. Senate the most partisan body in its history.

It’s time to remember that when Obamacare was being debated, President Obama, Harry Reid and Mark Udall found the ideas of their opponents inconvenient and frustrating. So they finally just rammed their grand plan though without a single Republican vote. Now the country is suffering the consequences of that partisan disaster.

A recent Quinnipiac Poll revealed that only 41 percent of Coloradans said Senator Udall deserves be reelected while 47 percent said it is time for a new person as our Senator.

Now we know why.

Coloradans want an independent voice in the U.S. Senate, not another partisan cheerleader for President Obama and Harry Reid. Please donate $25, $50 or whatever you can and tell partisan high jumper Mark Udall enough is enough.
