If you were a hostile foreign government attempting to invade the United States, then the United States would rightfully declare war and begin instituting various measures to make sure your nation is reset back to the Stone Age. We'd be looking at various places in your nation that are integral to your infrastructure, and wondering what it would look like if it were more destroyed and on fire.
Foreign governments attempting to destroy the United States from without is a pretty clear-cut issue. They threaten or attack us, we remind them that we don't have taxpayer-funded healthcare for a reason, and they behave for a little while, or if the desired behavior is not achieved, we start shoving missiles up the rear ends of their foreign leaders until the point is finally taken.
The issue is that, right now, one of our greatest enemies isn't an external government; it's already here, and I don't mean the Democrat Party.
I've been pretty vocal about how much I detest Islam, and I've only grown to despise it more over the past few years as the Islamic issue here in Texas has continued to rise exponentially. There have been attempts to establish major Islamic strongholds in Texas, including Epic City, which has been delayed for the time being, but is still being fought for by the Islamic community.
Only lately has this issue seemed to be acknowledged in large part by Washington, and thankfully, Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX-21) has decided to take real action.

Roy calls "Sharia," the system by which Islam operates, a "real threat," and he's 100 percent correct.
As he details in his speech, people have died and are dying from consistent terror attacks from Islamists across the nation, and they continue to gain traction everywhere. The fact that we got to this point is a testament to the Democrat Party's virtue-signaling at the expense of others, the media's willingness to ignore obvious dangers to the American people, and the Republican Party's cowardice of the past.
What boggles my mind is that if you're actually looking at what Sharia is, it becomes clear that we're in open war despite the U.S. government not acknowledging it.
Sharia isn't just a religious system; it's a system of governance based on Islamic beliefs. The goal of Sharia isn't just to stick to Islamic communities, and operate as isolated religious arbitration courts. The purpose of Islam is to bring everyone, every government, every city, and every neighborhood under Sharia law.
I've said this again and again: They are not shy about telling you they aim to infiltrate, dominate, and forcefully convert. Here is the Muslim Brotherhood leader saying it directly.

This is a hostile governmental entity, not just some radical religious belief system. It's a governmental system that is wholly antithetical to our Western way of life and the United States on an institutional level.
We should be looking at Islam, not as a dangerous terrorist organization. That's not good enough. We need to look at it as a war against a hostile government that doesn't necessarily need to have a country to be dangerous. Any Islamic presence in our country that wants Sharia implemented on our shores should be instantly tossed out of the United States immediately, and we should be willing to go to lethal measures to make that happen if necessary.
The U.S. government needs to start taking Islam and the idea of Sharia far more seriously than it actually is, because what happened in Europe is exactly what they're trying to do here. The U.S. won't fall to bombs and guns; it'll fall because we failed to take a third-world ideology more seriously than we should have.
