I was reading Jennifer Van Laar's article about CNN's coverage of the two teenagers who attempted to bomb an anti-Islamic takeover protest in New York City. As she reported, the coverage was nothing short of lunacy. The vibe was that these boys were taking a pleasant stroll in the warm collectivism of New York streets, minding their own business, when they happened to stumble upon a bunch of bigots.
Through a total stroke of bad luck, these two teens tripped, fell, and released two IEDs that magically appeared in their hands, probably as a result of white supremacist witchcraft. One of them attempted to yell out to the crowd to watch out for the bomb lugged their way in an attempt to save lives, but through what was obviously a slip of the tongue, shouted "Allahu Akbar!" instead.
Don't you hate it when that happens? If I had a nickel for every time...
CNN deleted the post, making the claim that these poor boys were the victims of an unfortunate circumstance, noting that the post "failed to reflect the gravity of the incident," but the internet is forever. The post was screenshot (including by our own Susie Moore) and is even now being distributed on X, and can be seen in Van Laar's article.
Despite my humor about it in this post, it actually got to me how ugly this moment was for CNN. It's par for the course for the network, whose habit of failing to "reflect the gravity of the incident' is actually the standard. The thing is, this "standard" isn't just an annoyance. It's proving to be deadly.
No one died this time, but that's just not the case for so many attacks based on some Islamic ideologue deciding there needed to be a little bit more blood on the ground in the name of a hateful god represented by a pirate who likes marrying children.

Right after I read Van Laar's piece, I saw something incredibly unsurprising but alarming nonetheless on X.
Tommy Robinson posted a video of UK MP Chris Philip pointing out that 94 percent of all terror-based murders in the UK are being committed by Muslims, but only 10 percent of the cases are blamed on Islam. This is obviously a statistic that shouldn't exist, but does because too many in the government don't want to be labeled racist or Islamophobic.

This is an insane stat, but it's the same spiritual issue CNN has. In fact, I'd say most of the legacy media have it, be they U.S. or U.K.-based.
Maybe it's fear of being labeled as racist or bigoted, maybe it's money-driven, maybe it's purely hatred for Western civilization. Maybe it's all of them.
I'm not sure if it actually matters at the end of the day. What matters is that these absolute refusals to embrace reality and be honest about what's going on with the Islamic population invading the Western world are getting people killed and murdered, and every time these leftists turn their back, they're not just ignoring a problem; they're turning their back on your life and value as a person.
There is so much blood on the ground, and the reason why is obvious, but every time these politicians and legacy media figures turn their noses up at it and pretend it's not there is another push for it to happen again. Yesterday, it might have been some woman raped and killed on the street in the U.K., tomorrow it might be your daughter as she's trying to get in her car.
Every time these people blind themselves and deny what's happening, the chances that another innocent person will be murdered, raped, assaulted, etc., go up.
I remember when Donald Trump called the press the enemy of the people, and how indignant they got. They accused him of putting reporters and journalists in harm's way.
Yet, here are these same people waving away reports of yet another Islamic-based attack, refusing to tell the truth as more and more blood is spilled. Trump was right. These people are your enemies. They can see what's happening just as much as you and I do, and they not only don't care, they actively pretend not to notice as people's lives are irreparably damaged forever.
Islam is the enemy of the West, and if the Western media and leftist politicians are plugging their ears and shutting their eyes to the screams, then they're our enemy, too.
