The Democrats are a worrisome bunch for a myriad of reasons. Top of the list is, of course, managing to drive even the most prosperous of places into abject ruin in the span of a few years if given enough power.
Funny enough, among those places is the Democrat Party.
The once proud and powerful party is imploding from within, and while that's obvious to everyone else — including many a former Democrat voter — it hasn't stopped the Democrats from pointing at everyone else except themselves. The only time I ever see any self-reflection is when they say something like "we just didn't get our message out well enough," which is a ridiculous sentiment, seeing as how they held all the big stages for decades.
We got your message. We just think it sucked.
But no matter how far the Democrats fall, they don't seem to want to pull back on the stick to level out the nosedive, and a lot of that has to do with the fact that they seem unwilling to fight the radical parts of the party.
As Sister Toldjah reported on Thursday, Louisiana Senator John Kennedy pointed out that the bulk of the Democrat Party is "scared to death of the loon wing."
"They won't speak up," said Kennedy. "And they don't stand for anything anymore. All they stand for is against whatever President Trump stands for. That's why we find ourselves in the extraordinary position of mainstream Democrats have now come out firmly and passionately in favor of crime in Washington, D.C. Why? Because Trump is trying to do something about it."
"Chuck [Schumer} and Hakeem [Jeffries] need to go to Amazon, buy some testicles, and stand up to the loon wing of their party. And until they’re willing to do that - I haven't heard Senator Schumer say anything bad about Mamdani. I mean, the guy's a socialist. He's a whackjob. They're scared to death. And the party is not going to get better until they do," he added.
As usual, Kennedy is correct. They're terrified of the radicals in their midst, but they won't do anything about them. In fact, it almost seems like the moderate side of the party is content to pretend the radical side doesn't exist, while the radical side threatens their jobs on a constant basis. It's a strange dynamic to watch.
But dig a bit, and you'll find that the reason the "moderates" seem to let the kids beat up on them is pretty simple, and I won't go into the fact that radical leftists have a history of shooting up moderate Democrats to do it.
Let's start with the fact that a lot of money comes from radicalism.
As the New York Post reported in May, millions and millions of dollars came from organizations and big money donors like George Soros to help get Democrats elected and/or defeat Trump:
The Democratic donor class ranges from family foundations like Ford and Rockefeller to newer philanthropic and grantmaking organizations based on finance and tech fortunes, such as George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, the various branches of Pierre Omidyar’s empire, and the San Francisco–based Tides Nexus.
These donors back not only much of the organized progressive movement but also the vast external support apparatus that wages political warfare on the party’s behalf.

Between 2017 and 2021, CREW received $2.85 million from Soros’ Foundation to Promote Open Society — part of the same philanthropic empire that, in 2020, announced $220 million in funding for “efforts to achieve racial equality.”
Further back in February, PBS Wisconsin reported that Soros and other large donors were shelling out cash to the Democrat Party in massive quantities:
Democratic philanthropist George Soros gave $1 million to the Wisconsin Democratic Party in January. Other large donors included Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker at $500,000; Milwaukee philanthropist Lynde Uihlein at $490,000; Gloria Page, the mother of Google co-founder Larry Page, at $470,000; and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman at $250,000.
After those donations came in, the Democratic Party made three transfers to Crawford’s campaign totaling $2 million. The party previously gave Crawford $1 million.
Big money donors like Soros are infamous for pushing radical leftist policies and globalist ideals. If you're a Democrat who wants to get yourself a fat chunk of cash to help win your election and keep your office, you'll fall into lockstep or, at the very least, keep your mouth shut.
That money has had a huge part in directing the Democrat Party for so long that its entire ideological guideline is tied to it, which brings me to my next point.
The Democrat Party isn't the moderates anymore. It is the radical branch.
If you look at everything the Democrats stand for, you'll notice that a lot of it is geared toward systemic collapse. Even as I write this, the Democrats are fighting like hell to stop Trump from cleaning up crime in places like D.C., keeping the border as open as possible, stopping deportations, etc.
It's wildly unpopular with a great deal of Americans, as evidenced by the fact that recent reports show the people prefer Trump's handling of crime by leaps and bounds over how Biden did it.

They see the same polls you and I do. They know what they're doing is unpopular... but they can't do anything about it. They're locked in place both ideologically and financially. They've been relying on this radical money for so long that the party has become radicalized, and going back would require a huge cultural turn and likely a leader who would be capable of remaking the party in a very Trump-like manner.
The pendulum always swings. The law of undulation is absolute. It'll happen one day.
But clearly, not today.
