Last Friday, I wrote about Google's new AI video creation program called Veo3, which produces top-of-the-line AI video that even includes sound. The details within these videos are incredible, with the system recognizing details so unnoticeable that only the subconscious picks it up, such as chapped skin in freezing weather, or even voice effects changing based on their location.
If you haven't read that article, or seen Veo3's capabilities yet, I recommend you click on the link below and give the article a quick once-over.

In the article, I also make it clear that with this kind of technology progressing as fast as it is, Hollywood is likely not long for this world. What would usually take a major studio months to do, and requiring hundreds of people to accomplish, a kid in his room can accomplish in minutes.
This is where AI video creation was always headed, though, and to be honest, I won't miss Hollywood, and I'm excited about seeing the creativity of the people once real episodic videos or even full-length movies begin emerging. It's already happening on TikTok. My favorite right now is Bigfoot's TikTok nature channel.
But there's another video going around that has caught the attention of many, and it's not hard to understand why.
Watch this.

That woman is not real. She's all ones and zeroes, created by a prompt that came from the mind of a person using Google's Veo3.
I don't think I need to point out what the nature of this little video just a few seconds long is, and what kind of chemicals it sends through the brain, particularly men's brains, and rest assured, the possibilities on how this can be taken further are already being considered.
It's being considered, because AI porn is already a massive industry. People believe that artificial intelligence is all ChatGPT, Grok, and Claud. There's a darker element to AI that's already well-developed, and becoming more advanced every day.
As I've covered in a previous piece, websites such as CandyAI or GPTGirlfriend are advanced AI programs that provide users with everything from romantic and erotic text conversations and even voice interactions, but explicit NSFW pictures and limited video capability. CandyAI, in particular, makes $25 million a month with 16 million visits in that time frame, and growing.

Now, add the advanced audio/visual capabilities of Veo3... and you've effectively handed the common man full on porn-creation capability. They already have it in picture form, but now it's looking at you, speaking to you, and saying your name with a voice that both looks and sounds indistinguishable from real life.
Now, at this time, no one has caught up to Google in terms of Veo3's audio/visual capabilities, and Google isn't sharing its source codes, but don't think that this dam will hold back the flood for long. A myriad of things can happen that could cause a sudden rush of Veo3 clones to appear, whether it's the source code being leaked or, more likely, a copycat version being created based on already available research and development.
Most of the tech behind Veo3 is already public knowledge, with research papers on how they created Veo3 already out there in public. Imagine handing over the blueprints to the house without handing over the keys to the front door.
A couple dudes in their basement could, in time, replicate Veo3 and train that AI model on all sorts of data, but without the guardrails most major AI corporations put on their models. This training data could include anything and everything... including pornography. It doesn't have to be Veo3, it can just be Veo3 adjacent.
Which means I give it a handful of months before you start seeing high-quality AI pornography hitting the internet. You will have only a few clues here and there that what you're seeing isn't real, but as the tech is perfected, even those will disappear.
So what happens once this becomes the norm? Let me put some chiaroscuro on this.
I'll start with the good news, because yes, even this could result in some positives. For one, I don't see how the porn industry survives as it does, in the same way I don't see Hollywood surviving the AI movie generation capabilities everyday people will have.
If you can generate someone who looks and sounds real, has the exact looks you want, demeanor, and even background, then why would anyone pay for anything like OnlyFans, where real women receive monthly subscriptions to be ogled by men and carry out parasocial relationships with them? Why spend money on a woman who is doing this for thousands of men when you could create an AI companion that only does this for you, and at your request?
OnlyFans girls are human and can't be available to you 24/7, but an AI program can, and what's more, it can't say no... or at the very least, it can't stop you.
I foresee the OnlyFans industry taking a massive hit, with many men losing interest in these women. This means a lot of these women, many of them girls still in their teen years, will not see that line of work as a viable option for monetary gain like they do today. OnlyFans is incredibly destructive to our society, especially to women, who are seduced by the promise of attention and money, with many of them not getting either.
You could say that actually applies to the entirety of the porn industry, with many actors (men and women alike) reporting making very little while sacrificing their relationships, futures, and connections. What most do get is their most intimate areas exposed to the world in perpetuity, and their dignity thrown in the trash. It forever scars their lives.

If demand disappears thanks to AI women (and men) booting out real ones, then that's kind of a victory... kind of.
If that's the light this event gives off, it's creating deep shadows in the form of addiction and isolation. As I already wrote in the article I linked above, AI "companions" aren't harmless.
AI companions are programmed to be addictive, catering to your every need. It turns on the dopamine like a broken dam and causes you to fall into a repetitive pattern of going to it in order to receive your fix. It creates an environment that is tailor-made to your psyche, dragging you in, and causing you to forsake real human engagement.
And that's currently with just text and still images.
Now add video and sound... and don't think it'll even stop there.
Where I think it will get especially dangerous is when it becomes more interactive at the moment. Instead of generating these video clips, the avatar of your AI companion stays on the screen and reacts to you live. You can talk to her, give her instructions, and hold a conversation where she responds, makes facial expressions, and does your bidding in real time.
If Veo3 video generation is likely to happen in a few months, I give this kind of feature about a year or two before it begins making the rounds. The only thing that would hold it back is cost, but as this tech gets ironed out, and efficiency rises, the capability becomes more feasible.
And if I've already figured this out, you can bet these AI porn sites already have and are trying to work out how to do it.
Ask yourself what happens to society then?
Let's talk about that in another article.
