In my estimation, Elon Musk is easily one of the most influential people in Western Culture, equal to, if not more so, than Donald Trump. He is a man who is taking us into the future by rectifying quite a few problems here in the present, be that our lagging behind on becoming a space-faring species, or the fight against censorship and the protection of our human right to free speech.
Musk's business and ideological aims align with the right, and as it so happens, that's the side Trump is on, and so logic would follow that Musk and Trump, two men of vast influence and vision, would find themselves allied and working together.
Naturally, this hasn't gone unnoticed by the left, and they are raging. A lot of digital ink is spilled daily attempting to devalue Musk in the eyes of society. They attack him, blame him for societal ailments, accuse him of nasty things, and throw temper tantrums over his words on X. If Trump was accused of "mean tweets," Musk is being accused of having a "mean platform."
This seems to frighten the left to no end, and they're raising the alarm to Americans that Musk is going to be a central figure in American politics. This post from Al Jazeera, for instance, is filled to the brim with panic:
Musk’s access to Trump at Mar-a-Lago, which CNN reported has become the de facto nucleus of Trump’s presidential transition, has given him an enormous amount of sway in a way that could benefit his businesses, analysts said.
His electric vehicle firm, Tesla, has already seen a boost with its stocks jumping 14 percent the day after Trump’s election win and the threat of tariffs on Chinese imports likely blocking competitors from the country.
“We’ve seen lobbying efforts. We’ve seen super PACs [political action committees], but this is a different level we’ve never seen before,” Gita Johar, a professor at Columbia Business School, told The Guardian. “There will be some quid pro quo where he [Musk] will benefit.”
But if you take a step back and look at what Musk is actually stating, you'll start to realize that the influence they think Musk is spreading isn't his. He is not the source, merely a recipient like many other people.
In truth, Musk was, like many other people in the Western world, "red-pilled" by experience, leftist incompetence and hatred, and a drive for success that was being hampered by leftist entities. He's hardly the only one, either. RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Joe Rogan, and a host of other high-profile names represent a left-to-right movement that happened over the course of the past decade.
Take, for example, this post he made on Tuesday where he was commenting on the head of NPR, Katherine Maher, and her infamous words about the need for censorship.
“I think our reverence for the truth might have become a bit of a distraction that is preventing us from finding consensus and getting important things done,” Maher told a crowd during a speech.
This prompted Musk to ask a simple question.
"Should your tax dollars really be paying for an organization run by people who think the truth is a 'distraction,'" he asked.

This attack on NPR will not go unanswered by the left. As of this writing, Musk posted this two hours ago, but I'm willing to bet you will see at least three think pieces about it by the end of the day, once again calling Musk dangerous and accusing him of attacking public services for not being ideologically uniform with him.
But this view of NPR isn't new. Many Americans have been stating this about NPR for some time. It baffles the mind that something so publicly funded could operate with such a leftist bias for so long. NPR is a propaganda machine for the left. It demonstrates that daily, and making Maher the person overseeing it all is proof that the leftism that's infected it is absolute.
A publicly-funded media station should not be advocating for the rights of the people to be stripped in any way, yet this is what Maher has openly advocated for in various ways. NPR has to be defunded if it's going to do that. It should not be taking funds from the people it's advocating abuse toward.
That's not a Musk idea, that's an American idea.
But the left places this solely on Musk, as if he is the one who is infecting everyone else with his thinking. This only shows just how disconnected the left is from the people, and exemplifies their refusal to listen to us.
They think it originates with Musk because they can't just turn him off. He's in their face, forcing them to listen by virtue of being the owner of a platform that allows free speech, the very thing they hate. They have to pay attention to him because he is influential to Trump, a man they hate who is about to sit in the highest seat in government for the next four years.
There is no ignoring Musk like they ignore us, but Musk is just saying what we're saying, and if they hate what he has to say that much, then what does that say about their attitudes toward you?
