Feminists Should Be Furious With Kamala Right Now Over Her Rogan Podcast Cowardice

Throughout my career as a political/cultural commentator, I've often asked one question repeatedly, more than most others.

Where are the feminists?

I mean that. There's even a YouTube video on my channel from eight years ago where I made a video asking that very same question about the situation in Europe with migrants sexually assaulting women in the streets. During that moment, Western feminists seemed to go quiet, and as you'll see, this is a pattern with them.

As you've probably heard by now, the Harris campaign now wants Kamala Harris to appear on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, seeing as how it benefited Donald Trump to no end. However, as Nick Arama reported, Harris has some stipulations she wants for Rogan. Rules for him to follow, as it were. Rogan posted the demands made of him on X:

Also, for the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.

I'm not surprised she made these demands. Rogan isn't considered a "safe" podcast. He would ask her questions that would force her to be a little more real, and that's not something Harris is known for being. She is, after all, a purely media-born creation as a candidate. That requires some very careful control and curating in who she interacts with and what they can ask her.

Every experiment they've had with giving her a question that wasn't scripted or is a little difficult has gone off the rails and embarrassed her completely. A conversation with Rogan would be an absolute disaster. To be honest, I think even limiting it to an hour was really brave of her campaign.

And before I hear about how Rogan shouldn't be asking Harris to appear in Austin, Texas, where Rogan is based, and he should be going to her because she's a VP, and he's a podcaster, I want to remind everyone that Harris enthusiastically appeared on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast with no complaint.

But if you're a feminist, you should be raging at Harris for this.

The Democrat Party has spent a lot of time, effort, and money to make it feel like it is the party of women, at least when it's acknowledging they exist. The Democrat Party is pretty gynocentric, so much so that men are becoming harder and harder to find within its voting base.

The message from the Democrat Party has been the same for decades. Women are strong, capable, and just as good as, if not better, than men. Anything men can do, ladies can do better. That's the message, and it worked for ages, pushing more and more of a divide between the sexes in the name of political power.

And here is Kamala Harris... asking for a handicap.

And one that Trump never asked for or needed. His Rogan appearance was enlightening, fun, and interesting. Most importantly, it was natural. Just two people having a conversation. Nothing was off-topic. Trump didn't need a controlled atmosphere, and he answered whatever question Rogan had.

Harris is sending the signal that she can't do what Trump did. She's not as savvy as he is. She's not as brave or as competent. She can't sit and have a normal conversation. It would break the narrative and disrupt the curated character we've been served. The curtain would be pulled back, and we'd see the actual wizard here.

Now you might say that this is just Kamala Harris, not representative of all women, and you'd be right to say that. Many women have appeared on Rogan's podcast and had very interesting things to say.

But feminists have been demanding that you should be voting for Harris based on the fact that she's a woman. Many of the legitimate criticisms of her have been waved away as sexist. The entire basis for the existence of "White Dudes for Harris" is that you should vote for the woman to prove American men aren't sexists.

Harris just proved, in one fell swoop, that they've been wrong about Harris all along.

Yet they're strangely quiet. They should be standing up and demanding Harris prove her feminist chops and earn their support. They should be, at the very least, encouraging her, assuaging her worries, and pumping her up.

But they're not.

Where are the feminists?
