Watch: Kamala Harris and Democrats Have to Stand Awkwardly As People Cheer for Trump at 9/11 Event

Before I get started, I want to make it clear that I think it's great that on a solemn occasion like this, both parties can put their differences aside, shake hands, and pay respects to the lives lost on 9/11. It's something we need to see more of, in my opinion, because at the end of the day, we're all human and the level of divisiveness we're seeing today is not healthy in the long-run.

With that said, now watch this drive.

After the debate, the left is clamoring for you to believe that Kamala Harris had handily won. While I won't say it was a clean sweep for Donald Trump, who was clearly more excited and angrier than he should have been (though I can't blame him), I will say that at no point did Harris truly draw blood from him. I think the biased moderators were more successful in that regard.

Thing is, if any damage was done to Trump, it's not showing in a big way. Various polls have already been released and Trump has come out ahead in quite a few of them, including one from CNN.

C-SPAN also did its own that shows Trump won handily.

But perhaps you're thinking that X has become too much of a right-leaning echo chamber. Then perhaps this moment will shed some light on whether Trump is still popular.

Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, and Michael Bloomberg were joined by Donald Trump and J.D. Vance to pay respects at the 9/11 memorial. As they glad handed one another, the crowd off-camera was making it clear whom they wanted and loved.

The Democrats had to sit there and listen as the crowd chanted and cheered for Trump. Another woman in the crowd could be heard shouting "we need you," as Kamala Harris could only wave awkwardly at people.

To be clear, I don't think it was appropriate for that to happen during the remembrance of the people who were killed on 9/11, and perhaps that should have waited for later, but that said, this is not the look the Democrats want, especially in a blue city like New York.

It gives credence to some people's claim that the debate last night was fun to watch, but not something that would ultimately move the needle for a lot of people. We're late in the game, and while there's less than a couple of months until we vote, the state of the economy and the myriad of illegal immigration issues has made up people's minds for them. They want Trump back, and they want an end to the madness that is the current administration, of which Harris is a large part.

It sounds like when November comes, Harris is still going to struggle in a big way. It probably doesn't help that even after all that debate nonsense, people still aren't entirely sure who Kamala Harris is. She spent more time attacking Trump and repeating herself than actually answering questions about her policy plans.
