For all the big talk of fighting for freedom and standing against tyranny, the right is largely a pretty passive entity. While this might upset some to hear that said, the fact of the matter is that we largely trusted the checks and balances that kept power in place, believing we could go about our daily lives under some sort of protective umbrella.
Perhaps this was true for a time but evil and authoritarians share the same bed and they rarely sleep. They've been slowly eating away at our system and our morals for generations. They've been so successful in supplanting our appreciation of God and liberty with fear and apathy that they've gotten very open about what they want to force on you in their hubris. They can do that because, as I said earlier, they knew no one was truly going to rise up to stop them.
In the defense of many Americans, the thinking was that electing the right politicians would do the trick, but what many don't understand is that this is just a temporary stop to the bleeding. The wound is still there, untreated, and it stays there thanks to many of the outside forces and advocacy groups attempting to destroy America little by little. These organizations with massive amounts of funding corrupt politicians, influence corporations, and create a very influential subculture that inspires ignorance, divisiveness, and a sense of reliance on authority in the public.
Not too long ago, bringing these groups up would have earned me the label of "conspiracy theorist," but at this point, the influence these groups have over damn near everything in our nation is undeniable. Still, the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing humanity he didn't exist, and the same can be said for these outside groups trying to bring down America.
They've gotten away with attacking Americans through D.A.'s, judges, senators, congressmen, advocacy groups, and corporations for a very long time, and the attacks will continue...because we are passive.
That passivity has to stop.
As my colleague Nick Arama wrote on Monday, Tesla/X CEO Elon Musk is going to war against one of the largest of these outside forces, Media Matters, a George Soros-funded radical leftist thinktank with its hands so deep into America that you likely haven't even heard half of what it's responsible for even if you have been randomly hearing about it.
Musk is being joined by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who has opened an investigation into Media Matters for potential fraudulent activity after Media Matters lied about neo-Nazi content being featured alongside the ads of corporations including Apple, IBM, and others:
“The Office of the Attorney General ("OAG") is opening an investigation into Media Matters for potential fraudulent activity,” the letter said.“We are examining the issue closely to ensure that the public has not been deceived by the schemes of radical left-wing organizations who would like nothing more than to limit freedom by reducing participation in the public square,” Attorney General Paxton said.
Musk is also being joined by Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey who said his office is also looking to the matter of misleading businesses with false claims in an attempt to harm Musk and X.
Simultaneously, Rumble CEO Chris Pavlosvki is joining Musk with his own lawsuit, claiming Media Matters "purposefully misrepresented Rumble, and he has called on Republicans to do something about it.
X is not alone.

I can also confirm that Media Matters has purposely misrepresented Rumble. Their dishonesty warrants an immediate investigation at the highest levels (hint, @SpeakerJohnson & @Jim_Jordan), and I’ll bring the receipts.

Meanwhile, Truth Social is launching its own lawsuits against various media outlets for defamation and attempting to harm a merger between Digital World Acquisition Corporation (DWAC) and Trump Media & Technology Group Corp (TMTG), by reporting an alleged loss of $73 million by TMTG. These organizations cited a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that doesn't contain information pertaining to that kind of loss at all.
Reclaim the Net reported on the filing:
The lawsuit suggests a deliberate attempt to harm TMTG and Truth Social’s reputation and financial standing, potentially impacting a significant merger between Digital World Acquisition Corporation (DWAC) and TMTG. “This was a coordinated effort to damage TMTG’s reputation, degrade the firm’s financial standing, freeze its access to capital, and torpedo the anticipated merger,” the complaint reads.
TMTG alleges that these actions have resulted in substantial harm, eroding confidence in the company and its management, and making it more difficult to raise additional capital. The media’s reporting is described as a “coordinated attack” on TMTG and its social media platform, Truth Social.
This is one of the largest offensives against the heart of the radical left that you've seen in some time and it's imperative that this succeeds. It needs to succeed, not only because it would help these platforms get justice, but because a clear message needs to be sent to the left that foul play has consequences and the era of being able to lie, manipulate, and intimidate with impunity is over. This is no longer a torture chamber, this is the octagon, and here the victims fight back and hit hard. Harder than the left is accustomed to being hit.
If you want to save America, there has to be an understanding that passivity is death. This kind of thinking has to translate to action in many ways, including supporting platforms like X and Rumble and voting in politicians who aren't the friendly type. You want law-unmakers and fighters, not passive politicians who want peace and bipartisanship. That ship has long sailed. You are in a war. Vote like it.
It's my honest hope that Media Matter is bankrupted and destroyed and that similar organizations meet the same fate. They've had their thumb on the scale for too long, and it's time to start teaching the left that this is the new age where they're no longer the apex predator. We are.
