I tend to talk about the realities of modern women in my writing, mostly because I don't see too much of it being written about on conservative sites. This time, I want to address the modern man, as he faces a very serious issue when it comes to how he often complicates life for himself and empowers those who hate him.
But first, let's set the stage for how this failure begins.
The modernized woman has been taught an odd form of hatred for men. It's a disdain they have while still having to obey their greater instincts that cause them to want men. It has taught women to see men as utilities meant for service, creatures that should provide comfort, monetary gain, luxuries, and sex when desired.
This disconnect from men for the modern woman has been paired with the feminist urging for financial independence. More importance has now been put on how much money a woman can make for herself. She's been taught that her value comes from how much "independence" she can garner for herself, not how great a partner or mother she can be.
So we have a woman who wants the attention of men, though she despises them, believes feminist lies about independence and liberation, and places little value on her role as a partner and mother. Combine this with other factors such as economic downturn, the unavailability of high-paying white-collar jobs due to an abundance of employees and a limited number of jobs to fill, and an unwillingness or inability to do any jobs that require getting dirty or sweaty...and many women will turn to trying to make money in a way that scratches a lot of her itches all at once.
Prostitution is the world's oldest profession, and in the age of the internet, it's never been easier. You don't even have to sleep with anyone, really. Just tease your audience and tell them that with a monthly subscription, they can see more. For even more money, these women can promise personalized pictures or videos that get even raunchier. You could say that these are like high-tech strippers, but many of these women will go farther than many strippers will.
You might be thinking that this is a horrible decision for women, and it is, but the only reason this kind of lifestyle is successful is because men make it so. Men are the ones forking over thousands of dollars to these women whom they create parasocial relationships with. These women don't care about these men; in fact, they probably laugh at them. For the more popular women on these sites, the parasocial relationships they have with customers aren't even real. Oftentimes, the messages exchanged between the woman and the customer are done through third parties.
Men are being clowned by these women, and these women are often proud of how they're getting the better of men. Case in point, watch this clip from Whatever podcast where one of these women expresses just how dumb and gullible men are.

She's not wrong.
We can sit here and rag on her all day for having what amounts to a short-term career path that will eventually see her subs dry up as she ages out of the most sexually desired age group, how she'll never truly land a decent man, or she'll have to live with the most intimate parts and moments of herself online for the rest of her life, but that's all in the future.
Right now, men are empowering this to happen to her by handing her money, further encouraging her to go down that road. She is being used by men just as she's using them, further driving her opinion of men further down and in a way that she's partly right about.
But let's leave her for a moment and focus on men.
I'm not going to sit here and pretend that men can't be dogs sometimes. I used to be one myself, and in my current state, I can see how that kind of lifestyle did me no favors. Modernized women are often a quick and easy way to get short-term kicks, but it's not the path to happiness or stability.
Perhaps it's partly a side-effect of today's anti-male sentiments in society, but men should have more respect for themselves and women. It's not worth it to give up your resources and time to someone who will never give you a good return on your investment, and these modernized women on these apps are a perfect example of a bad investment. Men, you're more than a pay pig, and women are more than sex objects.
But there's some nuance here that needs to be paid attention to about the "respecting women" aspect of things that needs to be laid down.
Respecting women means seeing them as people capable of doing great things because it'll help you know when a woman isn't capable of earning that respect and allow you to move on or avoid traps that will complicate your life down the line.
Proverbs 31:10 of the Bible says that an "excellent wife" is "far more precious than jewels," and God isn't wrong. In fact, God has quite a bit to say about the conduct of women and how a good woman is the foundation for a strong, happy life. Proverbs 18:22 says that finding a good wife "obtains favor from the Lord."
This means that men need to have standards and that they need to be able to identify these standards. Right now, the majority of today's men, especially young men, have lowered their standards significantly, creating a substanceless sex economy that truly only benefits women in the short term and promises destruction for everyone in the long term. Why have they lowered their standards? Because they don't know what these standards should even be.
Young men are widely ignorant about good women.
You'll hear feminists repeat things about how horrible men are and how they need to be taught how to treat a woman, including things like "teach men not to rape." In my mind, this is a shallow ask.
I would say that we need to teach boys about good women and self-respecting standards. We need to disrupt the modern narrative that men are dangerous, useless, stupid, and inherently bad, and begin teaching them their worth and that they're worthy of a woman who is also self-respecting and values peace, stability, and sacrificial love.
Men need to leave behind the idea that the modern woman is the only woman available. They're not and should be disregarded as potential wives or even sexual partners. Men should be taught to seek commitment and know when they come across a woman with whom they can form a solid foundation.
But it begins by teaching men that they're worth something and that they can have self-respect. That it's good to believe in themselves and they deserve better than what society wants to hand them. They can go and achieve great things, including finding a great woman, not some brow-beating user with few skills and too many issues.
