Woke culture was really in vogue for far longer than it should have been, but thankfully, it would appear that the social justice movement is finally losing the momentum from its social blitzkreig and is beginning to lose ground in a big way as Americans begin to reject the radicalism that has infected the left.
Democrats and leftists are watching as America rejects their politics and, in some cases, are even going on the offensive. Establishment Democrats have lost governor’s chairs to Republicans, school board members are being ousted, and companies that go woke are subsequently going broke. As such, Democrats have begun backing away from the deeply held principles they ounce virtue signaled that they had and are embracing a more centrist approach.
Even mainstream media figures are beginning to turn on the radicalized Democrat party that they had once upheld and defended with religious zeal.
Take, for instance, the report from our own Jeff Charles today who highlighted a moment on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, where both Joe Scarborough and Al Sharpton (yes, that Al Sharpton) both turned on the Democrat Party to let them know that when it comes to minorities, they’re more conservative than the woke white Democrats in D.C.
Sharpton was talking about how the Democrats got the black community completely wrong and have been for some time.

Most of what they said was correct…which is weird, at least from Sharpton. To his credit, Scarborough has been warning Democrats against woke culture for some time (though I’m not entirely sure he understands it given his defense of Black Lives Matter), but Sharpton has been one of the ring leaders of the social justice movement for some time. If you’d like me to reference when and where he’s done that, I only need to point you to his entire career.
But this back away from a losing strategy falls outside woke culture as well.
Look at the way Democrats are now starting to pin every problem they’ve created on President Joe Biden.
As I spoke about last week, the Biden administration is getting flack from the media for what is very obviously its own screw-ups and Joe Biden himself is getting the vast majority of the blame. Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed out how Biden isn’t just being targeted by the media but is even being disrespected by the people he supposedly calls “friends.”

It’s highly likely that there will come a time when Democrats attempt to pin woke culture on the Biden administration too, given its stark unpopularity among the average American, and not just Republicans, but Democrats who are watching as their party leaves them behind in order to embrace radicalism.
You can see it happening already and I imagine after the midterms it may get even worse as Democrats realize the depths of their folly and begin attempting to disassociate themselves with the more radical elements of their party. This will include everyone from politicians to media figures who had, at one time, promoted the social justice movement in some way, shape, or form.
The same people who had no problem painting conservatives and Republicans as racist, sexist, Nazi-sympathizing white supremacists, and promoting race-baiting organizations, radical LGBT activism, and more will begin speaking about a need to bring the conversation back to the center. They will begin using opportunities to denounce the more radical notions, but nothing that would end up angering a good majority of their base.
But the kicker is that many of these Democrats will pretend it wasn’t them that had been pushing this lunacy all along. Thankfully, we live in the time of the internet…and the internet never forgets.
