Many may have to play along with declaring Lia Thomas as one of the greatest female athletes of all time, but everyone else lives on planet Earth where dogs bark, the sky is blue, and men can’t suddenly be women because they said they were.
Thomas is definitely a man and there’s no escaping that fact. It’s why when he was declared the winner of the NCAA women’s swimming championship, many people immediately rejected his first-place victory and focused on the girls who finished below him. In one stunning moment, the girls did the same.
The is is bravery in the face of mindless hysteria.

This is all happening because Thomas is a cheater.
Among those not giving the transgender swimmer any credence is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who wholly dismissed the cheater and declared that the true winner was none other than the second runner up, Emma Weyant.
“If you look at what the NCAA has done in allowing basically men to compete in women’s athletics, and in this case swimming … you had the number one woman who finished was from Sarasota, Emma Weyent,” said DeSantis. “She won the silver medal, she’s been an absolute superstar her whole career.”
“To compete at that level is very, very difficult,” continued the Florida Governor. “And you don’t just roll out of bed and do it. That takes grit. That takes determination.”
“Now the NCAA is basically taking efforts to destroy women’s athletics. They’re trying to undermine the integrity of the competition, crowning somebody else the women’s champion, and we think that’s wrong,” he continued.
“We’re going to be doing a proclamation saying that Emma is the best female swimmer” in the 500-yard freestyle. She earned that and we need to stop allowing organizations like the NCAA to perpetrate frauds on the public.”
JUST NOW: @GovRonDeSantis says he will sign a "proclamation" naming @UVA and @USASwimming Olympian @emmaweyant the "best female swimmer" of the women's 500-yard freestyle.

This is exactly what needs to happen in order to combat the lunacy being pushed by organizations either too coopted by wokeness or too afraid to push back against it. Their “official” declarations need to be ignored, and the people should celebrate the actual winners as if the trans athlete that barged into the competition wasn’t even a factor. The only time he should be mentioned is when he’s denounced as the cheater he is.
As has been said many times, women’s sports should not be a “plan B” for men who couldn’t cut it when competing against other men. They should not be rewarded for deluding themselves into thinking they deserve to be a part of women’s spaces.
Thomas, like all male athletes who proclaim they’re female athletes, should be rejected and denounced by everyone from us citizens to elected leaders.
