The COVID-19 virus has been less of a threat and more of an annoyance for over 98 percent of Americans for a long time, yet there are those out there who are clinging to the idea that every COVID-19 precaution must be taken in order to stop the spread. In Florida, there are still holdouts who believe there’s still a great danger and are taking unnecessary precautions that make people’s lives more complicated if not more dangerous and Governor Ron DeSantis has had enough of it.

Organizing an entire talk featuring medical experts, DeSantis declared that it was time to end COVID theater in his state.

Titled “The Curtain Close on COVID Theater,” the roundtable talk begins with DeSantis pointing out that there has been a massive gap between the actual data on COVID-19 and the pronouncements made by people like Dr. Anthony Fauci. As the video continues, other medical experts such as Florida’s Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo and Dr. Robert Malone, one of the fathers of the modern vaccine.

The theme of the night was actual science, and condemnation of the shutdown of talks and debate surrounding the validity of many of the measures taken to stop the spread of COVID. There was a line of agreement between all of the medical experts; most of the precautions didn’t work, were a mistake, and it’s time to stop attempting to implement them on the people.

“Over the past two years, the data has shown us what works and what doesn’t work. It is long past time to stop the COVID Theater,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis noted that instead of following the dictations of people who were clearly in it for the politics, DeSantis and Florida followed actual data and, as a result, has a state that is succeeded where many others are failing.

“As a result, Florida is in a better spot than states who used fear-mongering and mandates,” he said..

Some of the highlights of the talk can be seen in a post DeSantis put on his Twitter on Wednesday.

Watching this roundtable, one has to wonder what the last couple of years would have been like if some of these experts were in charge instead of the likes of Fauci and the Democrats.
