At some point in one’s leftist political journey, there’s a threshold you cross where you go from free-thinking human being to possessed vessel. It’s a point where facts and logic no longer have any bearing on what you think or see. Your entire reality is defined by a political movement and you only view anything and everything through the lens they give you.
KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov referred to this as “demoralization” and it’s the first in many steps to bring a powerful nation into the throes of communism.
How demoralized are Americans? It can be seen very clearly in the effort to turn Texas into a Democrat-controlled state.
The Lone Star State has long been a Republican stronghold and given Democrats no end to their troubles both politically and narratively. Its low taxes and cost of living have been a source of pride to the state’s denizens, and its business-friendly atmosphere has caused major corporations to uproot and move there in droves, many of them abandoning states like California and New York.
One of the most high-profile of these moves was Tesla, whom Elon Musk very publicly did when California’s draconian rules and high taxes got so ridiculous that he decided to move his entire operation to the greener pastures of Texas after praising the state relentlessly.
But this is not a new story. Migration from blue states (specifically California and New York) to red states (specifically Texas) has been ongoing for years. Back in 2017, there was a notable out-migration from blue states towards Texas by the hundreds of thousands.
People had had it with their state’s draconian laws, high taxes, high crime rates, and incompetent leadership.
This was a testament to Texas’s success, the values and traditions it carried, and the politics that kept it that way, but this success also came with a lot of worries. Texans rightfully became concerned that the politics that destroyed these other states would find their way here through people infected with leftist thought. They would vote in radical leftists as they did back home, and turn Texas into a battleground state, or worse, a Democrat state. If they did, America would suffer a devastating loss as one of its primary monetary earners, sources of energy, and business centers fell to economic vampires and criminal sympathizers.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott tried to allay these fears and said that Texas was as Republican as ever. So far, he’s not been proven wrong as Republicans have won every major election in the state so far, and only seem to be gaining more and more ground within the state as time goes on.
But if Democrats are known for one thing, it’s that they play the long game, and while thus far those who have picked up and moved to Texas haven’t turned the state blue, eventually the tide of those who come here will bring it down.
In fact, the left has now begun actively encouraging Democrats to move to Texas for this very purpose. The New York Times recently released an article effectively trying to sell Californians on moving to the Lone Star State and taking it over.
“[Rapid] growth is rapidly altering Texas’ politics. As people pour in, Texas keeps getting more diverse, younger and more liberal. … On an electoral map, Texas looks inhospitable to anyone on the left. But its biggest cities and suburbs largely voted blue in 2020, and as a practical matter they may feel no less welcoming to people on the left than some of the most liberal of coastal metropolises,” claimed the Times.
Here’s what we do know.
California and New York are crumbling ruins compared to what they once were. They’re crime-infested disaster areas with innumerable homeless, ridiculously high taxes, and an unreasonable amount of laws that really put the hurt on its citizens, especially small business owners. Its leadership isn’t just incompetent, it’s corrupt beyond redemption.
It’s why everyone is coming to Texas, and hardly anyone is moving to these Democrat-controlled coastal areas.
You would have to be very stupid indeed to move to a comparable paradise and begin implementing the politics, regulations, and tax laws that destroyed the place you came from. It’s like shooting yourself in the foot only to shoot the other one once you learn how to hop to get around. There has to be some level of Bezmenov’s demoralization seizing upon the minds of those who wish to turn Texas blue in order to take a thriving place and turn it into another blue state hell hole.
It’s either that or your intentions are evil. You want to see America collapse because you were told to hate it by people who have lied to you your entire life. You know that if Texas falls, then America is greased up for a Democrat takeover and the skies the limit. Few things can stand in the way after that.
It’s imperative that Texas stay red, and while it’s held up so far, the left smells blood in the water.
