Earlier we reported that Twitter had suspended Project Veritas founder and CEO James O’Keefe for unknown reasons after he and Project Veritas released a three-day strike against CNN using undercover footage of one of their technical directors admitting to the network using fear and propaganda to get Joe Biden elected.
(BREAKING: Twitter Has Suspended James O’Keefe After Exposing CNN)
O’Keefe has given a statement to RedState responding to the ban giving us more information on why he was banned and saying that he will file a lawsuit against Twitter next week.
“I am suing Twitter for defamation because they said I, James O’Keefe, “operated fake accounts,'” O’Keefe said in his statement. “This is false, this is defamatory, and they will pay,” he continued. “Section 230 may have protected them before, but it will not protect them from me. The complaint will be filed Monday.”
Twitter has not released which accounts they claim O’Keefe operated that are fake.
This suspension raises a lot of eyebrows as it comes after a Project Veritas undercover operative exposed CNN technical director Charlie Chester, who admitted to the operative that CNN intentionally attempted to scare people into voting for Biden and desiring that things be misreported for more effectiveness.
He also admitted to CNN posting dubious stories about Rep. Matt Gaetz in an effort to have him removed from office.
Twitter’s move has many of its users believing that its excuse about O’Keefe operating fake accounts is a smokescreen to excuse its true motive of protecting CNN and defaming O’Keefe. Twitter is notorious for shadowbanning and suspending the accounts of right-leaning people, including President Donald Trump himself while he was still in office.
RedState will stay on top of the story and continue to post more updates as the story unfolds.
