New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio went into full-on fascist territory with his latest suggestion that the men and women of the NYPD should visit New York City residents for what he deems to be “inappropriate” behavior, even if that “inappropriate” behavior isn’t illegal.

Not only is this a challenge to the free speech rights of Americans, but it’s also a bad idea for another simple reason. With law enforcement being targeted by the left (including Democrat politicians), does de Blasio think that confrontational police attempting to intimidate people for non-crimes is going to end in unicorns and rainbows?
