Rand Paul Slams Dr. Rachel Levine’s Inability to Condemn Gender Transitioning Small Children

Dr. Rachel Levine, President Joe Biden’s pick for Assistant Health Secretary, got both verbal barrels from Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul over her support for using hormone drugs to transition small children from one gender to another.

Paul started by asking a very simple question that Levine refused to answer.

“Should minors be making these momentous decisions?” he asked.

Paul noted that once people begin down the road of hormone treatment, the results are often permanent. Women growing facial hair, infertility, and more are a permanent result of these drugs that Paul warned are off-label.

“I find it ironic that the left that went nuts over hydroxychloroquine being used possibly for COVID are not alarmed that these hormones are being used off-label,” said Paul. “There’s no long-term studies. We don’t know what happens to them.”

“We do know that there are dozens and dozens of people who’ve been through this who regret this happening,” added Paul.

Paul went on to note that children are changeable, especially as teenagers, and divulged that 10 percent of patients at a gender dysphoria clinic in England are between the ages of three and ten.

“We should be outraged that someone’s talking to a three-year-old about changing their sex!” said Paul.

“I can’t vote for you if you can’t make a decision on this,” he finished.

Pushing hormonal drugs on children has become an industry unto itself. With abortion becoming more difficult to get in certain states, abortion giant Planned Parenthood has moved into transitioning children, namely teenage girls. According to a whistleblower, Planned Parenthood instructs its workers to not ask too many pointed questions when a patient comes to them for the drugs.

The whistleblower noted that many of these girls coming in don’t actually suffer from gender dysphoria, but are instead treating gender transitioning as a fun thing to do, like getting their ears pierced.

Levine, a transgender person, seems to have no issue with this despite Paul’s warnings being true. We don’t have any information as to the long-term effects of these drugs that clearly have permanent effects on the bodies of those who take them. We still don’t know what it looks like in terms of cancer risks, how susceptible it makes people to sickness, and more.

Still, as Paul pointed out, the same people who were horrified by a proven safe and abundant drug to help treat COVID-19 are the same people who are now insisting an unproven and clearly life-altering drug should be pushed on small children.

The resistance to this, as well as resistance to anyone pushing this, should be bipartisan.
