No One Is Above the Law, Right, Nancy Pelosi?

It wasn’t long ago that her majesty, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Queen of the Democrats, was proclaiming to the peasantry that no one was above the law, specifically Donald Trump.

Now, according to the Daily Wire, Pelosi is getting a serious a dose of her own professed virtue thanks to a petition created specifically to address Pelosi’s violations of the mask laws she promotes:

Thousands of people have signed a petition calling for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be prosecuted for “COVID violations” after she visited a hair salon ordered closed by the California governor — without a mask.

More than 17,000 people have signed the petition, which sets a 25,000-signature goal to urge San Francisco Police Chief William Scott to prosecute the California Democrat.

The petition includes a letter addressed to Scott, which says, “Laws aren’t just for the ‘little people.’”

“Not only did Nancy Pelosi knowingly violate health ordinances, but just destroyed a business because she couldn’t take a ounce of responsibility.  At a very minimum, Nancy Pelosi must be prosecuted by San Francisco for her flaunting of COVID regulations. Now!”

Pelosi was wholly unapologetic. She even made it clear that if anyone was owed an apology it was her for being “set up.”

“I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I’ve been to…many times…It was a setup, and I take responsibility for falling for a setup,” said Pelosi during a press conference.

“I think that this salon owes me an apology, for setting me up,” Pelosi said.

This whole situation really puts Pelosi’s “no one is above the law” quote into some perspective.

It’s unlikely that anything will happen to Pelosi in terms of legality. When I referred to her as a queen I was only half-joking. Pelosi’s corruption extends so deep into the state of California and the Democratic party that she has, in a sense, become someone above the law.

While that’s pretty awful, it’s not without its uses.

This petition should get all the attention it can get. It should garner signatures by the millions, and then those millions of signatures, when ignored, will serve as a solid reminder that of all the people in Washington who should be distrusted it’s Nancy Pelosi. What’s more, if Nancy Pelosi is this much of an elitist and this untrustworthy, then the party that she leads probably isn’t even better.

Pelosi will likely never learn that she’s not above the law because she’s so well protected by the establishment thanks to the fact that she is pretty much its leader, but the one thing that she’s not above is the public’s ire and she’s definitely earned it.

There are people out there who are sinking further and further into poverty and depression. They can’t visit their relatives in the hospital or even attend their funerals. Their businesses are closed and their jobs are laying them off. If they haven’t been laid off, they fear daily that the phone call will come.

Yet here is Nancy Pelosi walking around in a flagrant disregard for her own professed virtues, getting a blowout at a hair salon that the peasantry can’t currently use themselves. Pelosi is a fraud and it would be superb if the world saw that. If the mainstream media won’t expose Pelosi for the elitist fraud she is, then we can.

Sign that petition and let them ignore it. Allow them to demonstrate to Americans just who is filling the swamp with more sludge on the daily by taking no action against the obvious wrongdoing in their midst. Let the Democrats, through their own corruption, bring themselves down.
