Earlier this week, Project Veritas released a 20-minute video showing viewers the giddy pride Facebook moderators have when taking down and censoring conservative posts.

As is Project Veritas’s way, they have released a second video…and we’re still waiting on any word from Facebook about what James O’Keefe and his crew uncovered.

This second video presents another Facebook insider named Ryan Hartwig who was also contracted to be a content moderator at the social media giant.

O’Keefe and Hartwig go over several videos featuring content moderators doing such things as lumping in Trump supporters with radical fringe elements, such as Nazis. Hartwig explained that if it’s right-leaning, it’s automatically placed in a potential list for hate groups where actual terrorists are listed. Left-leaning organizations receive no such treatment.

Hartwig also told the story of a content moderator, Kassi Cimo, who said she would accept the bounty on President Donald Trump’s head that was placed by Iran. This was followed by a clip of Cimo actually reasoning that killing Trump would help the country and that they should hand him over to Iran and take the money as a country.

At one point, Hartwig shared an LA Times story where he was featured on the front of an article detailing an “anti-Islam protest” that Hartwig described as actually being a “free speech” rally.  His supervisor accused him of promoting violence. They later backpedaled on this accusation, changing their story to Hartwig having violated policies for simply using company systems for personal use and distancing themselves from the idea of punishing him against his first amendment right.

Video evidence also shows that Hartwig applied for advancement but was denied. Employees are on camera saying that the reason he didn’t get the job was strictly due to the fact that he has white skin. According to another Cognizant employee, it was open season on white men in terms of discrimination.

As of this writing, Facebook has still not issued a statement about the discriminatory practices of contracted companies or employees. Unless called in front of a Senate committee, I doubt we’ll ever see anything in reference to the videos. The quieter Facebook keeps this, the better for them, and seeing as how the media won’t touch this with a 30,000 ft. poll, it’s unlikely that this will become a national story.

That’s a shame. It absolutely should. Today they’re censoring conservatives. If they learn they can censor groups based on prejudices, then who knows who will get the ban hammer tomorrow?
