The Capitol Hill Organized Protest, more popularly known as “CHOP”, experienced yet another shooting, but this time it was caught on camera via livestream where CHOP “security” was unable to delete it.

As my colleague Elizabeth Vaughn reported earlier, the livestream was being uploaded by user ShawnGui, who was walking down a street when the gunshots erupted nearby. ShawnGui immediately fled the scene, still streaming and muttering curses under his breath. He was shortly confronted by CHOP’s “security” who stole his phone and attempted to delete the video but soon found out that the video was still live. The video ends with them turning the phone off.

Antifa reporter Andy Ngo shortened the video to the relevant footage.

The two men who stole the camera and attempted to stop the footage from getting out made the mistake of putting themselves on the stream. While one man was wearing a mask, the other’s face is fully exposed. The identities of the men are still unconfirmed as of this writing.

According to the Seattle Times, the victim of the shooting was likely a 17-year-old boy. The unidentified teen was taken to Harborview Medical Center by private vehicle after firefighters attempted to show up:

Dispatch logs place the emergency response at Harvard Avenue and East Pine Street, with the first reports at about 10:42 p.m., though it was unclear where exactly the shooting happened.

Seattle firefighters arrived at 10:46 p.m., two minutes after being dispatched, and went to a predesignated staging location near the perimeter of the protest zone, Fire Department spokesman David Cuerpo said. A couple of minutes later they were notified that the injured person had been taken away in a private car, Cuerpo said.

No other details were immediately available about Sunday night’s shooting.

The Seattle Times added that on Saturday, another teenager, 19, was killed and a 33-year-old man critically injured after shootings in the same area. No arrests have been made as of yet and investigations are still underway.

The residents of CHOP can attempt to prevent justice from coming their way all day, but it will eventually find them if worse trouble doesn’t find them sooner. It’s already found three people just over the weekend, and I’m not entirely sure it’s going to get any better from here.
