In the modern age, social justice warriors and like-minded fascistic groups haven’t really deviated too far from their free speech restricting, shop window breaking, history destroying ideological forerunners. Like the Nazis, they bully and intimidate people into submission, believing that “we do not believe that there could ever exist a state with lasting inner health if it is not built on internal social justice.”

Also, like the Nazis, they have selected a specific group of people to be societal villains, and as such, their history, culture, and place in society must be erased.

Lucky for us, the social justice warriors are largely inept creatures without the organizational skills of their predecessors, but these totally-not-at-all-Nazi-like-Nazis are trying to erase the history of American society if it has anything to do with either white men from long ago or even police.

Over the past couple of weeks, statues have been torn down by protesters all over the globe, and it didn’t matter who the statue depicted. Abolitionist Matthias Baldwin, whose work against slavery become so well known that his business suffered for it, was torn down by protesters who saw nothing but a white man who lived long ago. The Westminster statue of Sir Winston Churchill, one of the men responsible for defeating the Nazis, is still standing but is definitely in danger from a mob that would tear him down if given the chance.

While these are examples of mob foolishness gone too far, some statues could be argued on the merits of their removal, but in the end, it’s not really about the statue. It’s about the removal of history and the promotion of a narrative. We can see that in the way they haven’t stopped at statues. They’re also coming for children’s shows and their depictions of authority figures.

The children’s cartoon “Paw Patrol” has puppies dressed as various civil servants, with the main character being a german shepherd police dog. The idea, according to the left, is that Paw Patrol is “copoganda” according to Fox News and that it needs to be stricken from your child’s daily viewing because it gives the child the impression that the police are the good guys.

The police are the good guys, and while it is sad to say that there are a random few who would abuse their power, it’s hard for me to accept this narrative being generated from a mob that supports riots, has hostile takeovers of several city blocks in Seattle, and believes I’m a villain strictly because of my white skin.

My question is, why are we accepting the narrative given to us by the same people who applaud the burning down and looting of stores? Why are we agreeing with the same group that sews more division and promotes segregation? Why are we trying to be sensitive to the people who are in the business of intimidating and punishing people who disagree with them?

You wouldn’t agree with a socialist group who went around telling everyone that the Jews were to blame for all of our country’s failings. Why are we lending ears to the socialist group who just replaced “Jew” with “white” or “police?”

That’s not to say that there aren’t problems that we as a society should fix. Some of the complaints and issues raised by this crowd do have merit, but a few good points do not a good guy make. Thanos had a point about the resource consumption rate of the population, but that didn’t make his wiping out of 50 percent of the population of the galaxy an okay thing to do.

Tearing down our history, or even our present, in order to craft a narrative for the future is such a bad idea. The point of history is to learn from it, not tuck it away in the closet where it can be forgotten about and repeated in ignorance. We know that’s exactly what will happen because the SJWs are doing it now.

What’s worse is that they, like Hitler and his textbooks, are painting a picture that shouldn’t be painted. One where a race is the cause of all issues and their contributions, good or bad, should be stricken from the mainstream consciousness in order to form a group or state that you can worship.

Once that narrative creeps into the mainstream consciousness and those of our children who are growing up, what horrible things will this group be capable of?
