Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is no stranger to using “f-bombs” in public, but now she’s using them to urge rejection of communication with our Heavenly Father, or at least she is through the mouth of one of our nation’s most ignorant political activists.

Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg has gone from anti-gun activist to general leftist activist, often using his Twitter feed to spout some of the most ridiculous things seen on the site.

Hogg tuned in for the White House briefing by the Wuhan virus task force like many others and watched as Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson urged those who would pray for our nation in a national day of prayer, and noting that we’ve gotten away from prayer as a society.

“There’s nothing wrong with godly principles no matter what your faith is,” Carson said. “Loving your neighbor, caring about the people around you, developing your God-given talents to the utmost so that you become valuable to the people around you, having values and principles that govern your life – those are things that made America zoom to the top of the world in record time.”

This apparently triggered Hogg who tweeted the moment out and told everyone to “f*** a national day of prayer.”

“Don’t let this administration address COVID-19 like our national gun violence epidemic. Fuck a National day of prayer, we need immediate comprehensive action,” tweeted Hogg.

This was seen by Tlaib who apparently agreed and tweeted it out. As you can see in the top left corner, Tlaib echoed Hogg’s sentiment with her retweet.

*language warning*

It’s one thing for a lawmaker to wish for action other than prayer. It’s another to insult millions of Americans who do pray and believe the action to be effective with a complete curse-laden dismissal of the action. Tlaib has proven herself to be an elected official completely dismissive of American traditions.

Furthermore, I think it’s odd that someone so attached to her own religion would dismiss prayer so easily. If she truly did believe in God, then she would be embracing the idea of beseeching Him for our nation’s health and speedy recovery. If she does believe, then it would appear that we have Tlaib actually tossing out the preferred actions of other religions, further showing just how bigoted and nasty she can be toward people not like her. If that is the case, then she has no right to talk about tolerance toward others.
