If you have a Trump/Pence 2020 sign in your front yard, there is, sadly, a pretty high chance that some angry, hateful leftist is going to see it, drop what they’re doing, and come rip it out of the ground.

In fact, I’d almost venture to believe that it’s become something of a duty for many on the left who proudly steal various signs of those promoting conservative things, whether it’s Trump or not.

One leftist’s attempt to steal a Trump/Pence 2020 sign, however, ended with nothing short of hilarity. Believing no one was going to catch him, a camera caught a man trespassing onto someone’s lawn in order to yank a sign planted into the ground but found a shocking surprise in store for him.

I’m using the term “shocking” both figuratively and very, very literally.

Apparently, the homeowner had rigged his Trump sign to deliver an electric shock if anyone tried to take it out of his yard, as this sign thief learned the hard way.

Watch for yourself. As you can see, the man runs up to the sign and gets a nice firm grip before quickly releasing it, jumping up and down and cursing. For a brief moment, the man falls before getting back up and running away.

It’s always fun to watch these people get their comeuppance.

Last year, a feminist attempted to steal a sign from pro-life students on a college campus but was quickly confronted by police. The proud feminist quickly devolved into tears as she was informed that she was arrested for larceny.

Not all of them face justice, but all of them do seem to have some sort of shortcoming. When your reaction to differing ideals is to resort to petty crime and bizarre behavior, it may be time to step back and analyze yourself.

If you let it go for too long, you may end up like the guy from the 2018 midterm elections in Texas who went around stealing Ted Cruz signs. When confronted, the man devolved into hysterics and speaking like Gollum from Lord of the Rings.
