Rep. Apparently, the mainstream media isn’t too keen on Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan raising any questions about this whistleblower’s relationship with Democrats, at least not out in the open where everyone can hear him anyway.

During Ali Velshi’s show, they cut to Jordan who was just beginning to make his comments after hearing a closed-door testimony with White House National Security Council official Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman.

“Chairman Schiff has prevented the witness from answering certain questions we have during the deposition,” said Jordan. “One of the things you do in these depositions is ask the basics — “who, what, when, where, why.” When we ask the whistleblower who he spoke to after important events in July, Adam Schiff says “no, no, we’re not going to let him answer this question.”

“He would not let the witness — look, the Democrats run out here — oh, the Republicans are trying to figure out who the whistle-blower is,” Jordan said. “We’re trying to figure out who the witness list is!”

Jordan went on to say that a witness list is going to be needed to take this further anyway, “so that the American people can get the facts, get the truth” and “know who these individuals are.

“It seems interesting to me that Chairman Schiff is so sensitive, I mean, I pointed out last week there are 435 members of Congress. One of them — one of them only one of them knows…” said Jordan, but it was then that MSNBC’s Velshi cut him off.

The relationship between Schiff and the whistleblower has been shady from the get-go, and now we have Schiff straight up instructing witnesses not to answer questions.

As my colleague, Bonchie, reported earlier today, Rep. Steve Scalise told reporters that Schiff was cutting of Republicans at every turn whenever they attempted to get to the meat of the issue.

“He’s directing witnesses not to answer questions that he doesn’t want the witness to answer if they’re asked by Republicans,” Scalise charged. “He’s not cut off one Democrat. He’s not interrupted one Democrat and told a witness not to answer Democrat members’ questions but today he started telling witnesses not to answer questions by certain Republicans.”

As Bonchie went into greater detail, this looks more like narrative crafting than an actual investigation. Between Schiff stonewalling Republicans and MSNBC not allowing the open asking of questions about Schiff’s relationships with any of these people, “narrative crafting” is undoubtedly what’s happening here.
