The presence of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York is indicative of an infection of radicalism in today’s political arena. The young congresswoman is the ultimate social justice warrior and an avowed socialist. She labels her opponents as sexist or racist as she pushes unreasonable economic proposals such as the “Green New Deal,” which do less to save the environment and do more to bring the average American under the boot of big government.

It would appear, however, that conservatives may have their own young Latina to support, and she could easily be considered the exact opposite of the socialist Democrat.

Catalina Lauf is 26-years-old, is the daughter of an immigrant, is a product of the American dream, and is running for Illinois’ 14th Congressional District seat against Democrat Lauren Underwood. Should she win, she’ll beat AOC’s “youngest women elected to congress” record by three years.

In her announcement video, Lauf tells her story about her Guatemalan mother who immigrated here legally through corruption and poverty in order to start a life and family with her father, a small business owner. After giving her story, she turns her attention to how the Democrats are attacking the country who helped crate stories like this.

“Today angry voices seek to divide us by skin color, economic class, and where we come from. They use envy and bitterness, trying to convince us to surrender our personal freedoms for the false promises of socialism,” says Lauf in a voiceover.

As this happens, images of an angry Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Rashida Tlaib flash across the screen.

“Our own representative in Congress calls Republicans racist and sexist,” she continued. “They forget that America is an idea, an idea that we are all created equal and that what we have in common is far more powerful than any of our differences. They forget what makes America great is all of us coming together.”

Lauf is referring to the radicalism that has taken over the Democratic party, which has put race and sex over almost everything. This includes her opponent Underwood.

According to the Daily Wire, her bona fides go beyond just being a staunch conservative with a background that Democrats can’t attack. She’s also is a former Trump administration adviser with a history of narrative wrecking. She can often be seen on Twitter denouncing the left’s claims of Trump’s alleged racism.

The Daily Wire conducted a lengthy interview with her, in which Lauf consistently put an emphasis on stopping the division in our country that the hard-left is currently trying to promote, and believe that resistance to socialism is more than called for.

Lauf has a real shot at beating Underwood, who narrowly won the district by 52.5 percent, and has since become the cookie-cutter radical on the left you see far too often.
