Now MSNBC and CNN COMBINED Can't Beat Fox News During Prime Time

Rachel Maddow has a lot more to cry about than the ending of the Mueller report.

As Streiff covered on Wednesday, Rachel Maddow’s ratings saw a massive dive of some half a million viewers after the much played up Mueller investigation ended up being the biggest dud in recent years. A shame for MSNBC, since Maddow was actually maintaining an audience as large as Sean Hannity’s.

However, it would appear that it’s not just Maddow that’s seeing Fox News pull away with a huge lead. CNN and MNSBC as a whole are now seeing Fox News leave it in the dust.

According to the Daily Caller, the signals began when Fox News was reeling in millions of viewers while MSNBC couldn’t keep up and CNN couldn’t even muster more than a million during the breaking coverage of the end of the Mueller probe:

Special Report with Bret Baier averaged 2.3 million viewers in total with 364,000 in the key age demographic of 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Group. MSNBC’s breaking coverage of the end of the Mueller probe garnered 1.7 million viewers and nearly a quarter-of-a-million in the key demo, whereas CNN only managed to attract 1 million viewers, but did have 291,000 in the age bracket.

Each network altered their coverage for the release of the report.

From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. that night, Fox News averaged 2.5 million viewers, whereas MSNBC had 2 million and CNN had under 1 million.

Now it would appear that now MSNBC and CNN’s viewers combined couldn’t equal out to the audience Fox News currently enjoys reported the Daily Caller:

Comparatively, each of the Fox News primetime shows produced at least 2.8 million viewers with Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, eclipsing them with over 3.5 million viewers.

During the entire primetime lineup, Fox News reached 3.3 million viewers, while CNN and MSNBC combined for 2.6 million.

Fox News leading the pack isn’t anything new, but it would appear now that the Mueller investigation is over and Trump has been found completely innocent, leftists are abandoning their chosen narrative pushers. Whether this is a temporary thing remains to be seen, as many may just feel disappointed enough to want to stay away from any Trump news for the time being.

However, for now, the only to see for leftists is Maddow-like tears about the left’s most damaging narrative to Trump disappear overnight. Meanwhile, the right is enjoying all the spiked footballs and parading of the destruction of said narrative on Fox News.
