Trump: Mueller Acted Honorably During Investigation

President Donald Trump finally has something good to say about Robert Mueller.

According to The Hill, Trump met with reporters in the White House where he was asked if Mueller acted honorably during the investigation, to which Trump replied that he did:

“Yes, he did,” Trump told reporters.

This comes after Trump has said some awfully negative things about Mueller during the investigation process, of which Mueller remained mostly silent.

“Bob Mueller (who is a much different man than people think) and his out of control band of Angry Democrats, don’t want the truth, they only want lies. The truth is very bad for their mission!” Trump tweeted in 2018.

In another tweet, Trump called Mueller and former FBI director James Comey “Best Friends” and accused Mueller of putting on a total “Witch Hunt.”

“Robert Mueller and Leakin’ Lyin’ James Comey are Best Friends, just one of many Mueller Conflicts of Interest. And bye the way, wasn’t the woman in charge of prosecuting Jerome Corsi (who I do not know) in charge of “legal” at the corrupt Clinton Foundation? A total Witch Hunt…,” tweeted Trump.

Trump is now saying that the investigation is now exactly how it should have been:

Asked Monday if the investigation was a witch hunt, Trump said it was “100 percent the way it should’ve been.”

“It was a false narrative, it was a terrible thing. We can never let this happen to another president again,” Trump said during an Oval Office meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

If people are expecting Trump to apologize for any of the things Trump said about Mueller during the investigation, they shouldn’t hold their breath. According to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, if anyone is owed an apology, it’s Trump.

“Are you kidding! The President’s rhetoric matches, they are literally – the media and Democrats have called the President an agent of a foreign government, but that is an accusation equal to treason, which is punishable by death in this country,” fired Sanders at Today host Savannah Guthrie.
